KrebsOnSecurity.com obtained an archived copy of the attackers’ online chatter as they were covering their tracks from compromising the sites. A hacker using the alias “ev0″ discusses having defaced the sites and downloading some 9,000 resumes from Eidos. ev0 and other hackers discuss leaking “src,” which may refer to source code for Deus Ex or other Eidos games. In a separate conversation, the hackers also say they have stolen information on at least 80,000 Deus Ex users and that they plan to release the data on file-sharing networks. |

Plot Summary:
When our hero Xero (Portrayed by Ryan King, [DOX HERE]) attempts
to destroy the fabled AnonOps servers with a tidal wave of packets
a crack squad of Anon\\\'s are dispatched to take him out. Has our
hero bitten off more than he can chew? With the help of his uni
dropout friend (Played by Aaron Lingard) they must take a stand for
all that is good. Things get complicated when a jewish terrorist cell
lead by Viral (Danced by Ryan Cleary) try to subvert the AnonOps crack
squad, leaving the leader XiX (Sung by Ian Summers) with a critical
descision: Use VB.net or VB6.

Why Eidos? Aren't they pretty ok compared to few other/bigger game publishing companies?

the EA forum was down for 2 days a couple days ago too,due to some kind of trojan mallware on the site i think.
or so people presume since a lot of people had warnings of virus when trying to visit the site,& when trying to loggin some was getting a popup to install flash even though they already had it installed.
google also had virus warning linking to EA's forums.
no reports on anything being hacked on EA forums though so prob not related to this but never know.

Anyway, the reason he targeted Eidos, I think, is because he targeted others too, he just didn't succeed. Only a complete dick would target Eidos.
