I do hope they follow through with that.

Buying a full fledged expansion pack with serveral new items, locations and hours of gameplay just feels more satisfying than buying a little DLC that you'll be done with in 30 minutes.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'd like them to re-release Witcher 1 in the Witcher 2 engine, a chance for them to make some money from the many of us who didn't buy the first one primarily because of the combat system.

While that would be pretty damn cool, it'd basically mean them making a whole second game. Not a light task.

What they are saying all the time is that they don't have enough people and resources to work simultaneously on game for 3 platforms, but....
IMO this game already have some conoslish looks to it :/ (inventory for example) so they are half way there already Razz

They've already supported and promoted and rereleased the first Witcher game. They also attempted a console port and cancelled it due to technical reasons. Time to put it to rest, huh ?

Anyone who is gonna buy it, has already bought it.

P.S.: Its combat was kinda weird but you get used to it and your character skills and alchemy actually matter, so it generally "works". But it seems the sequel has much improved combat mechanics.

Don't know really. I still don't know about the new combat system, will see when I'll play I guess, but until now I like the combat system from the first game more.
