im not that fussed about the content actually.
i just hate censorship.. its a matter of principle, i dont like the idea that my game is being censored in any way, given that its 'fine' for everywhere else - even fucking america ffs.
even worse, because of australias limp wristed shitty rating system, that i would be getting a restricted release... like i said, its not WHATS been cut out, so much as it is that ANYTHING has been cut out.
i can only hope that nz doesnt get lumped in with australia and gets the same releases... first game wasnt censored for us..

yep ive preordered the collectors.
but even if i hadnt, i wouldnt see this as an issue worth cancelling over. its a relatively minor bit of censorship, and its not worth the extra time and expense of importing from america or something.
im just venting because censorship - especially over something this minor - is fucking retarded. god damn PC world, and fuck australia for being turned into such a pussy by grumpy old fucks in suits who want to ban everything that doesnt fit with their delicate sensibilities.

The problem with Oz is the same problem with the US - fucking religious nutjobs have far too much influence. They are the ones pushing the censorship issue on both the ratings and net filter fronts. It shits me to tears, but only on the grounds of principle. I haven't bought a game locally since Quake was a new release, so I side-step it altogether from a practical standpoint.

Seems "The Hut" (I think that's a UK store chain.) is having a special for this title via a promo code, also has that finisher extra should anyone want to pre-order, unsure how shipping and such works though, never used them.
(OCUK many years back for more specialized components when I fully upgraded my computer but supposedly they've degraded a bit in customer rating or how it's measured since then.)

(Wonder if those will be possible to acquire and get into the base game separately or how DLC works for this game, would be something worth testing should they start spreading over the net, it is via the launcher for the game and similar to patches I assume as it was covered briefly in a video some time ago but we'll see.)

I'm pretty sure the preorder DLCs will be later released if you register the game. They mentioned lots of free DLC if you register the game.
