For me it depends I guess. In KotOR I never wanted to play with a two-handed saber for example as I really don't like that fighting style in SW games. Never liked it in Academy either. In SW games it was always single-wield 'til I got the second saber and then dual-wield. But in medieval/fantasy RPGs I usually like all 3 styles and most of the time I prefer the two-handed one which leads me to the fact that I simply love Geralt's fighting style.

For me, single blades are what counts as cool. Sure, I used to like dual wielding - but then I matured, and nothing seems as menacing as a single, perfectly handled, deadly lightsaber. Just the one - purple.

Didn't we have this conversation (dual vs single wielding) on here a while back, and someone did indeed link to a forum of "supposed" sword experts laughing at the prospect? People are dumb Laughing

I thought (I might be very wrong though) that many fighting styles are dual wielding, heck, the shield itself was used for more than just blocking passively - it was a weapon in its own right, was used for bashing, pushing, shoving, all sorts of nasty ways.

Was that recently?

I was actually recalling a ton of retard 12yo on the Elder Scrolls forums(back when it was the good ol' ESF) crying "beth y u no put dual weild in teh games!!!111!1" that generated a huge fight.

Why would you think that? I can't think of any historical stuff where there's been anyone, let alone many, using more than one weapon at a time.

Well, it could be interpreted in two ways: He was joking about having matured, or he was joking about implying that liking dual-wielding was childish.
