If this is anything like Dead Rising I'll skip it. I hated Dead Rising 2 mainly because of it's stupid, well, everything. Simplistic game play, repetitive nonsense, console-obsessive scoring and shit.
Where's a zombie game that borrows more from Romero, 28 Days Later and The Walking Dead than the garbage zombie movies that has been produced lately? Borrow stalker game mechanics and create a zombie game with some depth and survivalist thoughts as well as a critical view on society instead of just putting you down on an island full of zombies with silly weapons where the aim is to kill as many zombies as possible in as spectacular ways the developers could think of. It's no better than Space Invaders as far as depth goes if this follows the Dead Rising formula.

Last zombie game I enjoyed has to be road to fiddler's green. Dead rising 2 is just repetitive boring stuff.

Holy shit... so glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoyed RtFG. That game was ACE and felt like a proper zombie game.

it was. only real other zombie games have to be RE1&2&3. I'm not a fan of the "comic" and "fast" version of zombies the recent games try to portray. I think a zombie is scarier when slow but resistant like a motherfucker.

Likewise. Give me the slow, lumbering, zombies any day... they're slow, but you know they will NEVER give up. They'll hunt you, swarm you in packs, it's far scarier than some ridiculous screaming, running, jumping, "zombies" that we're plagued with in movies/games these days.

I still concider their reversed trailer to be one of the best ever made!
