The new cover looks a tad strange. They shouldn't have removed the changes made in the first one.
What do you mean? They fixed the perspective in the background and made the overall lighting better. Also the gun is more detailed.

Duke needs to be unique, not some CoD type game with pre-baked animations (for example I don't think that ripping the pigs horns off or punching the alien in the groins is really interactive but more like a "cutscene" MAYBE with a little bit of quick time events).
Crysis 2 didn't have that much of these moments, which I really appreciate. When you walked into combat in Crysis 2 you had great freedom. (again, compared to the recent action games)
And Operation Flashpoint was a very nice game! It felt challenging. The new one does not look like this. Even the menus were totally made for the console in mind.

I agree with u m8, why is he even mentioning duke3d when his pile of shit looks very little of what duke 3d was all about. my hopes where crushed of it being a good game when I found out about the weapon carrying capacity.
I would not be surprised if the new Serious sam will only carry 1 weapon at a time.
