I named my guy 'Hawk Hawke' that way I felt like they were saying my first name. It stupid on paper but it's not like they ever call your brother Hawke or anyone else that name.

I also had a gray warden named "Wardin"

Well this is clever Smile didn't occur to me, limits your choice in picking a name but at least you get to hear it.

Noticed the drivers while ago aswell. Gonna test out how these performs in Shift 2 (3d vision profile aswell), and how Dragon Age II works with DX11.

EDIT: Oh and these introduced automatic driver updates Smile Pretty nice job.

Made a difficulty mod, give it a shot:

http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2519

It's to make the action fast instead of giving all the enemies 1 million HP. But you die fast too now, so it's fair.

Pause a lot or you'll hate me.

Just completed it. It's not bad. Not a sequel in the true sense - too many poor design decisions, too many changes to cater to the mainstream audience, and too many signs of it being rushed. But I'd say it's better than Awakening, certainly. And there's some very nice companion chat during the endless trawls through the same dungeons. Plus, there are some scenes which are awesome, at the click of a button. I played it through on Normal, just because I couldn't be arsed with Nightmare just for the FF, and I have to say dropping a firestorm on yourself when you're surrounded by Shades? Pretty fun! Very Happy

Worth the £30 I paid for it on Steam, but not anymore. (Sucks to have bought it in the US - $60 is about £45 at the current exchange rate, right? Not worth that much).

Edit: Anyone curious about how long it'll last - Steam says a total playtime of 48.5 hours. That's doing pretty much everything (I think) on my first playthrough, as a mage.

Is there any male character in this game that is not a gay? Even uncle Gamlin is looking strangely at me. It must be my beard... This gaym is even more gay than Gay Villa. Full of aggressive gays that hate you if you say no.

BTW only hot chick (Isabella) in the game is bugged with that bonus thing... It seems that my Hawk will have to play with his own staff.

My sentiments exactly... I don't know why the heck they review this game and give it more than 7/10.

Example: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/games/ea-games/dragon_age_2/381003

Like the comments bellow say...the action doesn't even take place in Ferelden but in Kirkwall and he talks of excellent writing when it's clear that he doesn't even know the shit HE's talking about.

I turned down Anders for Isabella (lesbian sex ftw?). Got 10 rivalry from him which got wiped out when I started his personal quest. The Friendship/Rivalry points thing is silly, but just as silly are people trying to meta the romances. Feh.

Fixes isabella.

Getting good feedback on my mod. If you don't want to spend 1000 hours playing the idiotic million-hp enemies in nightmare setting but do actually want a challenge (harder than nightmare IMO) give it a shot. Still haven't balanced boss fights so any feedback would be appreciated.

DA II quickly became the laughing stock of the industry. If this reaction from the gaming community doesn't wake BioWare up, nothing ever will.

I bet they're actually proud that their game has become so famous, bad publicity is still publicity must be their motto

I seriously think sales wise their bad decisions will only reflect on the sales of DA 3. Too many people pre-ordered based on DAO.

What, are you from another dimension where DA2 was more like Origins?

This game, aside for all the gay forced down your throat, was awesome.

Bring on #3 as far as i'm concerned.

Whilst I respect your opinion, I think the combat in this game was more gay than Anders.
