Not sure if this was the right forum or not but I took a chance on this one.

I have an Asus G51X that has a 260M graphics card. I am using an older version of the drivers, (256.xx I believe or something around there, a few revisions back) and my external monitor works fine.

Any subsequent version of drivers I've tried have made it so the external monitor doesn't even get detected anymore.

I've posted this same question in the Nvidia forums but never got a response and it ended up being lost in the waves of other questions or whining.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to get this to work? Thanks. I apologize if this wasn't the right forum either.

I guess extended would have been more accurate heh. Sorry. It's a laptop but I should have mentioned that in the original post.

Any help please? Very Happy
