The way the rating system is used by reviewers these days it's just 90-100 so 91 is a 1 and 84 would be a -6/10.


The animations are complete and utter shit in this game. Especially when enemies come running at 500% speed. I get what they tried to do, but they went too far.

It's filled with retarded dialog, stupid as fuck responses from the protagonist(Kind of a Dick, Sarcastic Dick or Evil Dick. The new way of Bioware dialog choices.) and "forced" choices(exactly the same outcome no matter what you pick).

I'm level 7 and just killed the Mature Dragon in the bone pit on Nightmare and I doubt I'll finish it. The "tactics" consists of pressing taunt and using your aoe spells just far enough away from your tank to not hit him. The only thing that makes it remotely hard is the constant knock back on my mage from archers that spawn out of nowhere(just about every fight with a boss/miniboss in this game) when taunt is on cooldown.

Oh well, didn't buy it and I won't buy another Bioware game again so no loss here.

I made it to level 11 on nightmare, still pushing it strong ... Some of the battles made me cringe though. It's not that the game is hard, it's not, there isn't any real tactics, and the interplay between the classes ... laughably simple. First game was loads better, and even that wasn't on par with DnD titles.

No offense, but why do people keep "pushing" themselves to play the games they absolutely despise? It doesn't make sense to me. If it's no good, uninstall/delete it. Simple enough amirite?

So on DX9 this game looks like something of the early era of dx8 and on dx10(which my card supports) there are a few more(mostly not noticeable effects) but the price is huuuuge perfomance drop. For what it offers this is one of the most terrible optimized games in the past 2-3 years. Not to mention the dumbed down gameplay and shitty story.

Laughing I beg to differ, you are exactly the targeted audience! Hardcore gamers are pushed aside and moms with an xbox are rolled in.

whats wrong with auto attack? It's part of playstyle, for me. I got used to say my two second auto attack....
If my toon is at 1.8 seconds into the attack and about to finish then I'd wait for that to finish then I'd cast an attack or spell and that would increase my damage. if the auto attack is just starting and a spell or attack is ready then I'd cast that before waiting for the auto attack.

it's changed to button mashing, the attacks have shorter cooldowns so they are used more.
