So which do you prefer? I've always been a wet shaver but never been really satisfied with it. I've spent the past 10 years fiddling with the razor to find the best way for a nice shave, but it never really worked out for me. Lots of irritation and messing about with water and lather to soften the beard. Recently I got an opportunity to try an electric razor and it worked instantly. A lot faster and easier as well. So farewell razorblades and foam

I often let it grow for weeks and then use clippers to mow it off but when shaving wet of course.

Dry only and with 2 electric shavers. But in recent years I stopped using the other one and I pitty the fools who shave wet. My shaving takes like 2 minutes, it never itches and never leaves the wounds.

The wet shave is veeery smooth. At least it should be and I couldn't get a satisfactory result. And wet shaving is supposed to make you look very tough. I guess the Macbook makes me a fag anyway so I ain't got much to lose. Plus you can shave dry while driving

Hmmm... See for me it's the other way around: Electric razor will irritate my skin and normal won't. Granted I don't have that much facial hair... Maybe I should just quit and save on razor blades

shaving with razor without cream or gel in the shower cause it saves time
some aftershave afterwards
about every 3 days or so, sometimes more

Wet mechanic shaving irritates my skin so the only option for me is to use electric dry. Plus my hairs are extremely thin in diameter so shaving for me is easy I guess.

A real man does not need to shave. A real man simply commands his beard to go fuck off.

Same for me: I also have a thin beard. And not even a full beard. I don't even have a full mustache. You know the part where Hitler had his mustache -- that's missing on my face! So that's some kind of inverted Hitler mustache.

shaving wet feels really unnatural to me. Even with cream and shit.
I use nothing but my razor.

Electric shavers irritate my skin and give me a rash around my neck. And I can easily shave in a few minutes with a razor, no cuts, I've done it thousands of times.

I use an old fashioned safety razor. The disposable blades for those are far sharper and you can get a hundred of them for 15 bucks.
Most of the time I just have a full beard though with the neck trimmed.

I find the best way to shave is using a beard trimmer without any attachment.
Its fast easy and no rash. Obviously not a smooth shave but i like the 5 o'clock shadow look.
