Cartoon is from NZ and us older members are worried, least they should be, I am.
Think he lives near beach so he might be ok in terms of area and services available.
I see the humour in what your saying, cuz it is ironic, but still...ppl are still trapped under rubble and shit and at this moment, dying. Not cool to make an ironic statement under these circumstances

Thats a horrible thing to say and think man.
Empathy and such are key to being a normal person....
And because u say "No offense", doesn't mean it isn't offensive.
I hope Cartoon see's this thread if he still has net connection and wasnt affected that bad by quake. He happens to be a friend so yes there are 2 types of concerns a) concern for a friend b) concern for fellow human beings.
I'd agree with you to an extent if were say bin laden or some one or some people like that in this situation, they deserve it as they are mass murderers.
But its tragic that its just normal fok.
Anyway, I hope no one you love or care for or yourself are never in the a situation like or similar to this.

indeed... another person suggesting a shallow 6.3 earthquake is MINOR.
i know youre trying to make a funny joke at the expense of over 123 lives, but come on.. theres a time and a place for jokes aimed at religious nutters... and this isnt it, not when normal everyday people are suffering.
and i didnt think cartoon lived in christchurch. i thought he was up here in welly.

I am not trying to make a joke and i have nothing with our friend Cartoon, i hope he is ok .
We were talking about people trapped inside a church under debris, they don't need help, they have the faith in god .
