Agreed, the TKing is highly annoying. Love mplay though, cappin' the other team off w/ the MP5S on semi-auto is fun. xD

Continuing the off-topic-ness.
I liked Sin City. Some of it was slow and/or weird, but overall the movie was well-done and entertaining. I hated Bruce Willis' story though. Him and Michael Madsen did a horrible job. Madsen sounded like he was reading right from the script at one point, and Willis is just getting too old for this kind of stuff. Clive Owen and Mickey Rourke's stories were the best IMO.

Personally, i'd rather see a movie with real settings rather than computer generated everything
Take braveheart, minimal graphics, but fuck, one of the best movies ever...in my opinion
While thats a bad comparison, im sure they could have go some of the same feel with real world places, rather than a green screen

It means there is still some bad guys on the loose.
Search the level and arrest/kill them.
Also, I had the same problem some people are having about getting a black screen.
It happened when I switched my res to 1600 X 1200. Game played fine but the next time I started it I couldn't get it to play. Somehow it finally dropped the res and booted.
So, if you haven't tried yet, try and change the res, maybe edit a file if u can't get to the menu.

Thats because Michael Madsen didnt have much of a part in Sin City. Even Nick Stahl had a bigger part than Madsen. Nick Stahls a terrible actor. Mickey Rourke's story was good. I just wished it explained more.
Spoiler...
Like when Rourke's character got electrocuted... we see him later in Bruce Willis's story in the night club. Bruce Willis did a good job, but you have to understand a few things. People expected Willis to play the action hero again. They also expected him to carry this movie. Willis played the role of an older cop who was going to die anyway. Clive Owen was decent. Hes no Adrian Paul. The whole pussy hero with a bunch of hooker assassins against the mob was pretty stupid.
If your going to see the movie, see it for Rourke and Willis. Also, Elijah Wood looked like a complete idiot in this film. It still was a great film, but had its bad parts.

I disagree, and so do many people ive spoken too... its just too fucking wierd
and confusing , the prostitute bit was good but the rest no, the narration really got on my fucking wick im just not used to that i guess. |
Its black and white cinema. What did you expect? It wasnt like Oceans Twelve were they hired all these big named actors to make a shitty movie. This was a comic book adaptation which had multiple directors and narration. It was narrated because it was a comic. Also, you are looking at it from a turnoff point. Because it did narration, it made it successfull as a good comic book adaptation, along with getting the stories right. Was it good as a movie? Thats an opinion. I thought it was great. But if your going to talk about Sin City, anymore just post in the movie thread.

Confusing? How the hell was Sin City confusing?
Anyway back on topic I love just popping suspects in the head without yelling at them to get down. One time in that nightclub mission at the end this one guy took out my whole team but then ran away. I followed him and without shouting anything I just put a bullet from my M4 right in his face. I got -5 points for uncessary use of force but it was worth it and I still beat the mission. I burned a copy of the game for my friend so we can get some co-op in. Just waiting for the bastard to install it.

Geez. I throw in the towel for this game. I guess the dev didn't think to run tests on 1600x1200 res. That's my desktop setting btw. So, this could be the source of my problem with SWAT 4. Thanks, medeirosm for bringing that to light.
Okay, sorry for bringing up Sin City in this thread. I just found it amazing to see a big-screen threatment resembling so close to it's source material (ala, the Sin City graphic novels). That, I give a nod to the three directors for keeping to the books and not altering the already good source.

The whole res-lowering thing is simply and engine bug. I played Tribes: Vengeance for a while and it did the same thing if another window steals focus during T:V's startup sequence. It happens to me in 1280x1024 as well. Nothing to worry about I don't think (besides the annoyance of course).
