Hopefully it's enjoyable in the same way the first one was: just driving around the island in great cars.
The beta's handling was complete horse shit, hopefully they improved it.

Sure. They improved the handling since beta. Yeah, absolutely.

For all I know, the TDU2 beta (as well as the first one) were only there to iron-out obvious bugs and to make sure the online works. I don't really think there's time to change or tweak the driving physics during the beta.
Shitty driving physics will be shitty. It's TDU, what did you expect?

It is not just handling that plagued beta, it is overall feeling of driving. it was more like gliding or skating. At least you can buy a nice sweater and lower your roof so everybody can see it!

EDIT: Also what does the launcher say about the game version, still that Q&A thing or something else?

I tried. I've downloaded that russian release yesterday, and now only copied the crack and it works. Just, i have one problem, i can't hear voices. They're turned on, to the max, but i just can't hear them. Maybe crack is the problem, maybe my pc, or they have only russian voices. Don't know..

Would be easier if there was a retail version or such image from the launcher to compare against, it does seem like a earlier (Just how early though?) beta version of the game and judging by the above comments it's the same Russian release from earlier but cracked (Missing localized audio and what else it might have in common.)
Unsure if the launcher can be used to update the game, I guess you need to sign in so it's not something that can be tested either I assume.
Of course the changes might be relatively minor so it might still work as a demo or offline version of the game.
(As per the console discussion a lot of features requires you to be online such as synchronized weather and car ownership for selling/trading properly or some such thing.)
EDIT: What's the latest file date of the game?
(I suppose you could just check the exe or launcher though.)

What's the point of a driving game if the feeling and handling is useless? Seems all they did was add sims-derpity and more non-racing items instead of fixing the one thing that is actually important.

Wait, so besides being able to dress my character, interact with others, chat, flirt, swim in the pool, have ze virtual zex in ze pool, I ACTUALLY GET TO DRIVE CARS?
What a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting this car-driving add-on thingy. Is it a DLC? Is it coming in an expansion?
Who would've thought? Cars in Transmitted Diseases Unlimited 2!
