That's because console gamers are currently the favorite bitch of the gaming industry. PC gamers have their vaginas full of sand over the second class treatment they're getting.

I read that even if they break down nowadays, Nintendo can still fix the old NES consoles. And it's not expensive either. It's only like 20€ for most faults that can occur. Talk about consumer service.

Sounds about right but since PC gaming is really expensive, parents and occasional gamers will go toward consoles since its cheaper and pretty much plug and play.
In all the people i know amongst friends and ex clan members i know from my several years of PC gaming, they all switched to consoles. @ of them went back for Starcraft 2 and thats it.
