False, scene doesn't wait for anything. |
plus there's that clone for 5-6 days now |
And JB posted the exe here once the game was unlocked, which has also been posted on rinru, and RLD have accused SR ( http://www.nfohump.com/index.php?switchto=nfos&menu=quicknav&item=viewnfo&id=145588 ) of making steam cracks based on techniques described on that forum, which means they know of that place, and it's almost guaranteed that they have visited it these days and downloaded the exe to work with it (actually it's not a big stretch to say they might even be reading us, as a link to this topic was posted there IIRC )

I'm not blaming anyone or insulting others by calling them 'derps'. This is what I had done and it worked without hick-ups. Played through the whole game like this and didn't complain about a single thing. The controls were a bit uneasy before the changes but it was still playable. I play everything with M+KB and couldn't care less how it behaved when a controller was used.

If u managed to play in first Dead Space without any controll issues whatsoever, then you most likely have a small penis. |
And should die.

I see the trolls are out in full force lately. Must be a school holiday.
@human_steel
I'm not calling your a liar, I'm merely stating that the control issues were real and reported by thousands - to excuse that as inconsequential or "non-existent" would be akin to sticking your head in the sand or your fingers in your ears. Whether the issues affected YOU personally, or not, doesn't change the fact that they were very much prevalent for the vast majority of gamers -- which would be why Visceral/EA actually put out patches that attempted to correct the problem, none of which ever fixed the deadzone issues for controller or the ingame vsync option. Yes, you could disable it and use external apps for vsync, but then; why include that option in the first place if it was so horribly broken?

I picked up my kids from school today. Judging by your cute and cuddly avatar they are at same age as you.

Yeah, calling people pricks, small penised liars and telling them to die definitely gives you the priviledge to call others trolls

Typical nfohump behaviour. It always comes to social position, or penis size, or being poor, or age, or some other bollocks when either side of the conflict disagrees with something the other states.

1) Yes there was a problem when you enabled Vsync, even Visceral admitted so recently.
From neogaf: "This is not due to any inherent limitations in the title, rather than an unfortunate choice about mapping mouse controls into console controls. If you plug in a pad (and hack off your vsync) it plays like butter."
2) There were 0 patches.

I know, which was all that I was saying mate. There WAS an issue with vsync (and also an issue with deadzone on analogue sticks) - I simply said that if the same issue isn't present in DS2, then DS2 is definitely worth buying. I loved it. As for the patch; my bad. I could have sworn there was a patch released for controller issues, but oops... sorry about that.

Great price for a great game but I want to buy this only on Steam. I don't want physical disc or any other digital licence.

Hopefully the experience from cracking this one will make near-future EA titles get cracked earlier... The clone has been out for what, 8 days now?
