This makes no sense... Liver is connected to blood flow, actually it's like a big filter that all the shit you eat/drink go to, and 'neutralizes' it. And Spaz is correct:

Snorting alcohol is idiotic imo, if I would be bored with being normal drunk from drinking I would ask myself if I have some kind of problem...

But I'm partially right, since most of the "filtering" gets done on the blood coming from the stomach and intestines where drugs get absorbed. If it enters the blood directly the effect is much much greater.
