So I didn't realize how often I did this until this morning. Every morning when I get into the office and make myself some coffee, I will pour in the creamer real quick then sit there and stare at it for like 5 minutes. it's almost like you're watching a satellite view of a tiny world. the mountain of creamer slowly dissolves into the sea and turns into what looks like clouds over a muddy earth, because of the turbulence from the creamberg glaciers dissolving, small currents form that start spinning into baby hurricanes that will follow each other across the cup. Some others will start to spin but die out.. It's hypnotizing...Seems to work best when I stir in a little sugar first so the water has a little residual movement to it Very Happy

I get to work an hour early so i have time to sit down, relax and have some coffee before I start dealing with servers, But even if ya hate coffee, i'd suggest giving it a go with a single cup, is almost beautiful haha

Coffee and a cigarette are the first thing I do when I wake up, the day just wouldn't be the same without those two.

yessir suppose the concept works with any liquid really, just something I do every day for years and never realized how nice it was until a week or so ago. Somehow makes me drink more coffee though Laughing

I have a morning coffee ritual too; walk to the percolator, change the filter for a fresh one, put three scoops of fresh coffee, pour the water into the machine .. and then sit back to enjoy piping hot, fresh-ground, coffee.

Perfect!

Don't you guys regret getting into the habit of drinking coffee though? I mean, don't you get kind of reliant on the energy from the coffee? I know some people get headaches if they don't get their daily coffee at the right times. ;p

Just curious is all. Smile

Not really, I'll drink maybe 2 cups in the morning. After about a month it starts to give me heartburn though so i'll stop for a while, and have never been one of those that get caffeine headaches.

You should all be ashamed, drinking coffee which was harvested from child slaves, so that they can pay for their AIDS infested families, while you sit in your warm office and think about the creamer...

Even if I drink coffee ~three times a day (breakfast, lunch and late afternoon) I never feel reliant on it, it's more like a tradition for me (and the fact that I love its taste helps). In the days when I don't have the possibility to drink coffee my metabolism doesn't change at all, I have all the required energies without any strange "collateral effect". Smile

2 times a day: in the morning (6 or 7 AM) and one in the evening (5-6 PM). If there was no coffee I don't know how I'd function. I just cannot wake up properly without it.

Not to mention that it's essential to my morning bowl movement grinhurt

And it's natural antioxidant It won't do you any harm unless you drink like 10 cups a day, but that is valid for everything else (pills, alcohol, even food). Everything is beneficial in rational amounts...

My aunt claimed some days ago that during the last 5-6 weeks she's been drinking 8 cups of coffee a day; but considering that she works in the high management, I think she's quite justified Laughing
