@ wizard: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2009/09/21/overclocking-intel-s-core-i5-750/1
It's pretty easy though. Just pump IMC and Core voltages to 1.3, set BCLK to 200 and select the appropriate ratio for your memory (start with a setting equal to or less than your memory's rated speed, so if you have DDR3-1333 and can only choose between 1200 and 1400 with the ratio, start at 1200). Check if that's stable, it should be. From there, start lowering core voltage in steps of 0.05 to find the lowest stable voltage
Running mine at 21*200 = 4200 at the moment, core voltage of 1.26; IMC at 1.21. Pretty sure I can do 4.5 stable just fine, but this is plenty fast and temps are nice and low (about 35-38 idle, on air with virtually no noise).
@ aeonfast: good setup mate; the XFX you chose is one of their new units as well, Seasonic build

I tried those changes in BIOS and the temperature went as high as 55 celcius... am I doing it wrong or something?
Maybe I should re-fit the H70, I may have turned the fans the wrong way. Both should ideally blow into the chassis, no? Rather than blowing out the hot air.

Yeah it works best as intake, is it IDLING at 55? If so, you definitely need to reseat it, it's not making contact properly - it should be running slightly cooler than mine, so you should be sitting in the low to mid 30's really o_O

What a crock of shit tbh.
Values are as follows:
BCLK : 192 Mhz
CPU Voltage: 1,3125 V
DRAM Bus Voltage: 1,60325 V
IMC: 1,31175 V
Temperature's around 48 celcius whilst idling in Desktop according to AIDA64 with the H70 fans blowing into the chassis.
I think I'll buy an exhaust fan tomorrow and fit it in the top of the chassis, a few inches shy from the H70, maybe I'll even buy two additional fans to replace the Corsair ones, what do you think?

Hm.. just noticed that the fans are at 1400 RPM, that might and might not have something to do with the pretty high temperature. Think I'm gonna buy three gentle typhoons by scythe tomorrow, 1850 RPM most likely.

Good luck
On a sidenote, my 760 is in an NZXT Phantom; 2 intake fans at the side in front of the HDD bay, one at the lower front (intake), the big 240 at the top as exhaust and then my rear fan + CPU fans all blowing from the rear to front (so that's intake as well). The CPU fans came with my Frio, both running at just over 1600 RPM, rear fan is around that as well (hooked up to my Phantom's fan controller, so can't check)
