Hi guys. Ive downloaded some bejeweled ost (damn so nice) but its Flac format. I generally like it but 40 or more mb audio files doesnt suit my mp3 player.

i tried fast googling but there is much crappy software.


So what Program Do You recommend? Also i am converting .ogg from time to time so I could use and univerlas coder

I have this problem when downloading full albums that someone puts in FLAC, the entire album is in one file, does Audacity split it into the tracks or does it just turn it into a giant mp3?

if the rls had a .cue paired with the .flac use something like Medieval Cue Splitter. i think with flac there is no re-encoding with the split, .ape and .wv on the other hand will have to be re-encoded which MCS can do as well. some claim tho that the loss from re-encoding (.ape mainly) is quite noticeable, in my opinion i cant tell the difference.. there are winamp (yeah) plugins that will load .cue into playlist and pick the file apart blah blah blah heres the link:
