Well, I recently installed the newest version of MSN Messenger due to a re-installation of Windows, and FUCKING HELL that shit is annoying. Whenever you send a picture to a friend in the form of a URL (I do this A LOT) it pops up this extremely annoying "View Together" window inside the chat, god I hate this fucking shit. Tried finding a way to disable it but no luck so now I'm reverting back to MSN Messenger 7.5.
Anyone else mind boggled about why the fuck they would implement this extremely shitty feature?
And yes, I know, trillian etc etc, no thank you.

Well , i think it's way too big and liked the older 2004-2005 version of msn messenger that wasn't so clogged up with useless shit like themes and crap like that.
A basic layout is always way more practical than useless shit like facebooka and twitter integration

Using A-patch goes a long way to cut off the junk in Live Messenger 2011, but that shared viewing is super annoying, and there's no way to turn it off. It's clear MS is turning Live Messenger into a pure social community with all the crap.

Not sure what this "view together" shit is. I just yesterday installed the latest version of msn and it is the biggest piece of trash i have ever seen. It feels like a big clunk of mess and most of the fucking window is a celebrity newspaper. Microsoft seriously need a few staff changes it seems. Msn has been getting more and more horrible for each version, but this seriously tops it.

Yahoo does it kindaish by default, if you link in a picture it will automatically load the picture in both IMs..same with youtube videos, etc.. but not sure if that's the same thing.

You guys know any good chat app with video and the possibility to stream a video file (or your desktop) instead of your own webcam image?
I had a third party app that doesn't work with win7, it was called softcam. You could select softcam in messenger and in the softcam software you could select if your cam is the source or your desktop. I could move a window around and everything in the window would appear to the other person as my webcam image.

recently formatted to upgrade to win7... figured yeah ill get the latest msn, i mean what the fuck, right? i tell you, that piece of shit did not last 5 minutes before it was gone. and yeah, i grabbed 8.5 as well. its not as nice as the old old version i had on xp, but its a damn shitload nicer than that bloated ugly turd the new one is.

I found trillian had also to much stuffed under the hood really... it may not annoy you that much but it was an app that to me was cluttered for a simple chat application.
