Heh I'm aware of that Razz , it has been said several times that Dead Space 2 will be more action oriented than the predecessor, and we all know what it means..

Anyway, my copy of SS2 + Rebirth mod + Sound upgrade + SHTUP mod is permanently installed on my laptop, just in case Smile .

I'm waiting to hide behind some crazy waist high walls in GoW3, Arkham City (Fucking Drool, wish they didn't start adverting this so early), ME3, Elder Scrolls, Star Wars MMO, Diablo III ,

all slated for Q4 this year, god knows what i've missed. Some nice ones in the March/April area as well, but god damn, Winter is going to be GOOOOOD no matter what genre of games you prefer.

This comes out January 31st and should last 70 - 100 hours at least, OK so it probably shouldn't contribute much more to this thread.

EDIT: Monday Night Combat as well but it's already available via beta.

Sure, Dead Space wasn't a proper spiritual sequel to SS2 but it was definitely a better sequel to the old Resident Evil games than RE 4 and 5.

So for that reason it has won my heart. Smile

Weak month indeed (ill get Dead Space in a couple of months instead).
Speaking of scifi games... i've got an OT question since System shock/Dead Space was mentioned.
Did anyone get Bioshock 1 to work in Win7 64bit?

I don't really care about Dead Space 2, I didn't even finish the first one because it bored me. Tried it like 5 times or so and it simply bores me. Anyway, if Magicka shows up next month, I'm going to be happy. Plus, I think we're going to get the SDK for TW2 released, which means a lot of mods. I'm still waiting for that, didn't finish the game yet.

Edit: I had Bioshock installed on Win7 x64, without any trick. I didn't like the game however.

What a pathetic month. Completely dried off. I'm looking most forward to Dead Space 2. Hope it turns out as a survival horror just as much as the first one was @ hard difficulty.
As far as Breach is concerned, I'm afraid it stays as a multiplayer shooter, or at least that's what the official website states. Despite having all these pleasantly destructible environments, I think I'll pass on that one.

No worries, it won't be. Now Clarke has a voice and a personalateh and he's a fighter now and taking the fight to the monsters! lol wut And MP with amazingly awesome matching system to ensure experience is just as bad if not worse than BioShock 2 MP. Laughing

Thats odd - cos there are tons of threads where people try to get it running..the sequel works great, but the first one just wont start. It insta crash. I've tried running it as admin in xp compability...but still no luck

Edit: Never mind...I found a way to edit the default.ini file to get it to run. Apparently its a sound problem
edit2: did what they said to get the game running - but now I don't get any ingame sound. Only menu ones.
edit3: it's their patch that fuck things up.
