I really don't know what he saw... those 2 dlcs were less than 2 hours together from what I know. I saw most of them on youtube and it wasn't that much of a loss. Of course they could have included those in the game or at least release them on pc too, but it wasn't that much of a problem how he thinks it was.

you can finish underworld in 6h , each dlc gives you another 6 six per dlc ...6h original game+6x2 dlcs=18h... yeah 60% for me
so if your a math nazi then you get 33,3% of the game on the disc and 66,7% are the dlcs 
but seriously Underworld was a disgrace |

And now you say each of those DLCs was as long as the game ? ROTFL. Did you actually play the game AND DLCs ? Besides, the ending of the PC version was perfectly fine, as was the game. I don't give a shit if ONE of the consoles got more content, my experience with the game on PC was very good.

I finished both DLC, they add 2 h to the game max and are kinda useless to the story. The level design of the Beneath to Ashes DLC is awesome, but it felt DLC and aside of the story, so really, you arent missing much.
And I think my favorite Tomb raider from Crystal Dynamics is Tomb raider anniversary, was awesome IMHO, but I'm afraid this Tomb raider is too much Resident Evil and not tomb raider at all

Underworld is pretty awesome. And if I hadn't heard about those 2 dlc packs, I would not have missed them. The maingame had a real finale. What more do one need???

Kotaku says look at Call of Duty, the only big change they made was to abandon the WW2 setting and it's the most successful brand of video games; therefore there's something wrong with Tomb Raider if they need to constantly reboot it and re-introduce the character to gamers

How is that statement wrong? CoD games sell like mad, so it's one of the most successfull franchises ever in gaming. He's not saying it's the best game ever made. And I agree with him about reboots, Tomb Raider has had too many of them. People should not touch such franchises and call for a reboot unless they have a really good idea.

1) It's ironic because the CoD series have become stale.
2) So since Tomb Raider obviously isn't as successful as it was seeeeveral years ago, doesn't the reboot option make the most sense??
-> CoD isn't changing much because it's very successful, why risk it?
-> Tomb Raider needs to change more than a few things for it to become possible to turn very successful.
Furthermore the recent Tomb Raider games are similar enough to the old ones to the point that we can say that only the story aspect of the games was rebooted. The changes to the gameplay were minimal. With Anniversary even the story of the 1st game of the original series, found its place in the "new" series.
3) Angel of Darkness wasn't really a reboot, was it?
So IMO the first true reboot of the Tomb Raider games has yet to come.

Uncharted looks good, but not as good as those screenshots. If this game is about exploring and not constant shooting im all for the reboot. I don't really care aslong as it stays true to what the series once was. But we all know it will be a linear action shooter like everything else anyways. (i havent actually read about the game as im too lazy atm)
