Fuck off iPhone haters, I don't give a shit about your opinions.
Ok, now that's said... I've got an iPhone 4, running 4.0 (i've been lazy...!) - i want to update to the latest FW, jailbroken of course. I do not give a flying fuck at this point about having it unlocked, I just want to install custom apps etc.
What are my options? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks but I am already on 4.0.1 - thats really old now (4 months ish?) and I want to update to get a few new features, such as HDR photos etc.
As far as I can tell, jailbreakme only works on really old iPhones? Or did I miss something?

Maybe its the amount I use it, but my battery last's fine (well fine in smartphone terms)

4.2.1 is not fully jailbroken yet.
4.1 is, you can go to that if you want. Use pwnagetool (custom firmware) or limera1n (jailbreak vanilla firmware).

limera1n is easy and best at the moment unless you need to unlock that shit

After a week of having mine I will say I dont have any battery issues either, and I use mine quite a bit (but not for any social networking sites or shit like that)

When I use it for gaming or videos my battery only lasts about one day. When I just use internet and mail it lasts a few days... JB done with limera1n
