6.6/10 @IMDB

Quote:
Barricade yourself in and prepare for the apocalypse - the Siege of the Dead is upon us... When Michael arrives in the city to visit his girlfriend, he soon realises that a terrible virus has spread across the city, turning people into mindless homicidal maniacs. Trapped in his girlfriend's flat, he teams up with Harper, a teenage plumber, as hordes of infected zombies begin to swarm the building... With astonishing special effects and a riveting storyline, Siege of the Dead is a thrilling gorefest laced with pitch-black humour, high tension and shocking scares.

The use of Mozart in the trailer didn't make it look any better neither.

Nah german is awesome, wish i could speak it.. Gotta love Rammstein etc, makes almost any other language sound kind of lame Smile

Just think of Hitler speaking in italian, or french, how gay wouldnt that sound? I would've thought he was just reciting a food recipe and not talking about destroying the jews and whatnot Very Happy

Dont find it on usenet yet ;(

Well just looked it up on bloody disgusting and this caught my eye -

Quote:
Shot on 35mm, the film looks quite appealing and realized by a competent cast and crew, it features not only a well-written script and some very good acting and direction, but it also confronts us with a bunch of believable characters whom we actually care about quite a lot. Since most of the shooting took place on location in a down-and-out block of flats in one of the less wealthy parts of the city, the overall atmosphere of Rammbock is pretty authentic and the events presented throughout the course of the movie appear more “real” than in most films of a similar kind. In regard to its tone and feel, Marvin Kren’s apocalyptic vision of a languishing Berlin’s unavoidable downfall is definitely closer to a thoughtful arthouse horror film like Let The Right One In than a Romero-esque splatter fest a la Dawn Of The Dead.

Well this sounds pretty damn good.
