Why would an American company make a game that wouldn't sell in the US?

Never said they would make it.

Why wouldn't it sell in America? Any examples of someone trying to do it? I know the Fox trash and their stupid following would be all over it but beyond that.. the whole population can't be that retarded.

Every other game has been completely 100% realistic up until this game from the sounds of the whining. Laughing

+1

People cry because the story is farfetched, but they don't see that its same overused story with Koreans intead of Russians. Its quite sad really...

That sounds like a similar level of realism! Cool Face

And of course it's the same story, fawe4. You've seen it at least in World in Conflict, Freedom Fighters and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. While far-fetched, all of those were much less so than this.

Hell, I might even enjoy this game if it isn't just hype. As long as I pretend the invaders are something more sensible. Like Martians.

Homefront 2: First details revealed

Quote:

THQ's VP of Core Games, Danny Bilson, has revealed a few details on Homefront 2.

Although the first instalment of the FPS series hasn't even been released yet, Bilson was quite forthcoming when asked about the follow-up.

He revealed Homefront 2 will have "new features" and shift its focus to new characters and a new setting.

"The sequel has new features and doesn't even deal with the same characters," said Bilson (see).

"It takes place on the other side of the Mississippi -- nobody knows what's going on over there because the North Koreans have irradiated the Mississippi with radioactive iodine and nobody can cross it without a hazmat suit. It's very interesting stuff." he added.

The storyline to this game is a crock of fantasy shit.

Not only would the US military kick a foreign invaders ass of any size, shape,or form but think of all those millions of gun owners in the country who would initialize guerrilla warfare on a scale larger then anything seen before against the invader. Smile

Right now I'm temped to agree with

It's Call of Duty in a domestic setting. The knifing, the dimwitted enemies that stand out in the open with hardly any AI...other than the premise it looks like a run of the mill FPS.

Based on the video, it seems quite possible that it will use the same server model as BC2 and Black Ops (no server files, only rent from server providers).

A bit difficult to be hyped about the MP just by seeing the video, since BC2 has already filled the spot for such a game quite well. For the moment at least. You would need to play and see if they have enough interesting new ideas in gameplay to make it a good alternative.
Or perhaps simply being a new game to play will help Smile

We haven't many informations at the moment (except for the official videos), so we can only hope that Kaos Studio learned the lesson from their previous mistakes.
A beta would be very welcome though. Razz

Just watched a short footage of multiplayer and it is the same shit as codmw,mw2,etc/bfbc2.

Those +100000000000 Points per every kill all across the fukin screen...how retarted is that shit?

Also hitting an enemy - instantly a big fukin X appears on it's model!

single player could be interesting if you could play as north korea, invading derp land - U_S_@ would be so satisfying.
