Holy shit! That's a FANTASTIC gaming lappy! What's the price though?

-edit-

NVM, I'm a blind asswipe. €1400 seems VERY steep, but at least it's several times more powerful than an MBP which costs twice as much Laughing

Hey look, it's the basic 17" MBP with a videocard that's about 2.5 times as fast. But wait, what, despite being a little overpriced it's still €850 cheaper?

Sorry

In all seriousness now, looks pretty good, don't think there's any similar specced laptops at a lower pricepoint Smile

An excellent overal laptop, I am always somewhat bothered by Asus focus on graphic performance while they often overlook their CPU. However for 1400 Euro you have got a good deal here. I hope she enjoys her new laptop.

Sounds fine as long as she understands the abysmal battery run time gaming laptops have.

A friend of mine has that laptop but I think with full hd display and i7 processor. He brought it to the office and what can I say. It's a fucking beast. TOO big for my taste Smile (oh and the cpu speed didn't impress me at all )

buddy just bought that, I looked it over when he got, it runs everything max rez flawelessly, batman arkham on max was like 30+ fps

like I said, a 5870 mobile is completely overkill unless she plans on gaming on an external monitor thats bigger that what the laptop has.
