Yeah, I mean come on. Seriously. How hard is it to read the fucking journal. Or pay attention long enough to remember what you're supposed to be doing. Is Bioware targeting gamers with ADD or something?
Well at least we still have Obsidian and their great ambitious games that tend to run short on development time and budget. But still.

Did you see the shit I've gone through just getting the fucking thing working? I *do* regret buying it, even for five Euro. BioWere are a dead company, nothing but a collection of spineless hasbeens. I can't wait until EA liquidise them.

Nooooooooooooooo
But that was the best part of Dragon Age... to be lost in so many quests and doing them at your own pace

I got the DLC codes and the very next day the DLC was AGAIN set to Unauthorised.
You know what? I really dislike you. Ever since you got here, all you do is troll and flame and insult people. Every single post you make is antagonising, or insulting, or trolling. You serve absolutely no purpose here except to be a little bitch.
Take a hike.

But you know, who plays this game sitting in a couch doesn't really need to get lost in a questlog full of complex and useless objectives. Just give him one quest at time, a big overpowered sword able to butcher dozens of
enemies, a simplified interface that doesn't distract him from the action and he'll be happy.

I do sometimes point out when a poster makes a ridiculous, illogical statement. It hurts, when you're that poster, doesn't it ? But I never use insulting language or attack anyone personally, like you just did and like you always eventually do, when you don't like someone. You also constantly insult game developers and publishers ... whose games you play, mostly for free.
And why do you actually dislike me ? Because I said that Black Ops (you are so hyped about right now, after playing it on 360) is the "same old shit" repacked and sold for the Xth time ?
Saying that my "every single post is ..." is simply a slanderous lie. Fortunately everyone can find out about this in my profile.
More on topic. Apart from the missing DLC code (which is EAStore's fault) I had absolutely no problems with downloading, installing and playing DA:O Ultimate Edition.

More lawyers, less robots!
And this:
Mike Laidlaw wrote: | The stars offer an at-a-glace indicator of the weapon, armor or item's usefulness compared to your current level. An item that used to be five stars at level one will slowly drop off to none when you're in your teens. The goal there is to make it easy to tell what's above and below the curve for your current character.
And, of course, you can either hover to get a tooltip, or use X (on consoles) to inspect the item in question to get a detailed breakdown of what properties the item has, damage it does, or whatever.
This is pretty consistent with the rest of the game. I'm a big fan of making at-a-glance information clear and easily digestible, while having another layer underneath that lets you dig deeper and get neck deep in the statistics. You'll see this approach in character creation, inventory, crafting and so on." |
Somebody needs to understand that not every game should or even can be simplified so that even your grandma can play it on your 360. Some games are complex by nature, and that is what is good about them and distinguishes. Where is the appeal in an RPG if you take every aspect that goes deeper than "clicking here is good, clicking there is bad, oh, and the stars say your armor is nice, no need to equip something else." If people do not want to get into a game's system to understand it and to play it how they like, maybe this kind of game is not for them.

I never made a ridiculous or illogical statement. Go and read the BioWere forums and then tell me there's no issues with Ultimate Edition. You're a troll, plain and simple, posting inflammatory comments with the aim of drawing a reaction. Just like you have in every other thread. The reason I dislike you? You remind me of an old poster on here who took it upon himself to be the forum appointed colossal douchebag, whose sole purpose was to troll people and attempt to correct everything they said.

Like I said; I got the DLC codes. I registered them. They worked. Next morning they were set to unauthorised despite being on my account. EA's fault? No, not even remotely. So, again, you're a troll. Now piss off.

yeah fuck that shit.
I just hope that in a decade or two when the majority of games uses photorealistic raytraced graphics with procedurally generated assets we'll see better games again because content creation will be easy as fuck and games will be much much cheaper to create, so developers can take more risks and move away from the fucking mainstream.
until then, I see no hope. it will probably only get even worse with the next generation of consoles.
the night is darkest before the dawn, right? let's hope so, because it doesn't get much darker than it is right now.
