What cat ?
Last cat that made the mistake to jump in the wrong side of the fence almost got lynched , luckly it hid under a tub and the dogs didnt have time to dig in after it .
Last cat that hat kittens in the basement also got lynched and all but one kittens survived .
It's funny since they're doing it for sport , they aren't eating them , just snapping their back and putting them on display to show how good they are.
My cat will sit next to the kitchen sink meowing loud, until someone turns the tap on, so it can have a nice cold drink (Even though its water bowl is never empty. wtf cat!)

Same as mine. He also ambushes during the night in the bathroom waiting for people to come brush their teeth, so he can get into the sink when the water is on.
