He directly owns 3 of 6 main TV channels ( the infamous Mediaset company, which is the largest commercial broadcaster in Italy) and "indirectly" influences the other 3 ones (Rai1,Rai2,Rai3). He also owns a famous and
influential newspaper (il Giornale), the biggest publishing company in Italy (Mondadori), the Mediolanum bank and tons of other stuff I can't even remember..
So he doesn't own half of Italy, but rather the totallity of it

Portugal is going into the same road, we are now closing our borders for the first time since we're members of the E.U. so to deny the entry of Black Bloc Anarquists into the country due the usual protests during the Nato Summit 19th and 20th of November.
This is just ridiculous, first, because in the last month there should already be some 20.000 Black Bloc members in Portugal, secondly, because they just can stop a handful of members from coming in, the ones already recognized from the authorities.
Portuguese Police forces are spending millions of Euros in purchasing new equipment for the Nato Summit alone...
Really hope they cause enough disturbance so that this ridiculous summit becomes canceled.
