It's a free addon for 1st-time buyers of the game and you get;
One flask of Raise Dead potion, another of Slow Time potion, the Scot Male/Female Hero Outfit, the Highlander Tattoo Set and the Red Setter skin for your virtual pooch.

does the story get more interesting? i played for about an hour last night and i found myself just wanting it to hurry up and get to a point i could save. the last thing i did was talk to some wacky indian looking dude on a mountain. i want to like it but so far i just don't know what it is i'm supposed to like.
kinda like castlevania - i've played that up to the point where you get the chain that saws but i have no idea what's going on with the story.

yea but it wouldn't let me save. it was at the part where it forces you to change clothes and the save option stayed greyed out. once i went and talked to the indian guy it let me save after that.
no biggie i just hope it gets a little more interesting.

This game is 9 out of 10 just for the John Cleese factor. Too be honest, this game doesn't feel like a Fable game for the first little while, I can easily see a lot of people put this game down and never come back to it, myself included.
But Fable it is, with all it's unique and weird ways of leveling, enjoyable combat, and this time around, a new way to level your weapons.
Spoiler: | Had to chuckle at the mercenary part. Playing a female character and part of the disguise is a beard. They don't honestly expect me to...hah yah of course they do. So now I'm a bearded lady |

Just out of curiosity, how exactly did you open and examine the patch file? I often wonder what the actual title updates change, so a tool like that would be quite handy. |

Apparently there are only 4 golden keys in the whole game. I found one by going through one of the cave systems and out on the other end in ?mistpeak valley? (don't quite remember the name) and went into the golden door at the sunset house, there was only a chest in there with a nice hammer which I am using now.
Only to later find a second fucking golden door in the library for which you have to shoot hidden panels and kill hordes of skeletons only to get there, so now I desperatly want a second golden key :/
Also, I unlocked one of those guardian doors which required two heroes to interact, and it was really really simple. Just connect second controler for hotseat play, random hero spawns, then fiddle with the two controlers to get some interaction going and -bam- door open.

Completed the story. Still have 3 more chests I can open, so might do some more questing.
Spoiler: | Went with the "evil" decision, even tho its better for the people overall...
and I was a little greedy I transfered a bilion dollar over to myself from the treasure, so bought every single buyable house in the game |
My hammer has 74 in dmg, not that great but it works

So fastet way to make money?
Done with fist playtrough as evil.
Now im going for second as good.
But i HATE doing all the pie-making and shit.
Only upgraded it to lvl 2 yet also..
So there must be a quicker way than grinding pies to afford a house now and then?

This game is god damned fucking BRILLIANT! Christ I was up all night with this thing. It started out so bleh and now it's just heroin. I honestly cannot believe how funny it is. The writing for this game is top notch. The one quest there in Bowerstone... Spoiler: | with the 3 geeks playing a DnD tabletop game | had me laughing the whole damn time! It was just so perfect!
Love it! Can't wait to get more playthroughs in. See what kind of unlocks I can get for my sword. The mod you get from Spoiler: | being mean to chickens | looks really good, so I'm sure there's some badass looking ones.

When does the fix kick in? I've just gotten the achievement for starting the journey to overthrow my bro and I'm bored to tears. If it doesn't get any more interesting than this I'm gonna have to pass on it.

i'd say it gets more interesting halfway through. mind you though, if you didn't like fable2, this one isn't any different.
