Yeah, a lot of people still think KOTOR2, and NWN2 was made by bioware.

Both are spectacular games, yet technically flawed. Pretty much Obsidian all over; amazing ideas, lousy execution.

Yeah Loved both games regardless of technical issues.

Anyways, this game is just like FO3, but for some reason I'm enjoying it a lot more.

Wished they worked more on unique NPCs, I see the same face over and over.

Also, I had the same exact issue Sabin, I leveled up again, and it popped up, and was able to select my perk. Even tho it was a level later.

Funny, some of my most treasured games have been bugged trainwrecks Smile

Vampire: Bloodlines
Fallout 1+2
Kotor 2
Classic Sierra adventures like Quest for Glory 4 (that was almost impossible to complete)
and many more...

And then there are those who apparently were bugged, but I never noticed. Smile

Like the Baldur's Gate trilogy
Planescape
Icewind Dale 1+2

Anyone else having a bug with Caravan ? The NPCs always bet 0 caps when I play with them, and I can't get them to raise either.

When I tried on the console version, they always offered a starting bet.

Edit : While I'm posting, how do you guys deal with high armor targets ? I've been having a lot of trouble killing giant radscorpion, took them out with a bunch of dynamite, anything else wouldn't do any damage. I'm starting a quest with armored robots now and it looks like it's gonna be dynamite fest again. ^^'

Kotor 2 had some minor bugs (at least for me) but it was highly playable anyway.

Hmm, there are armor piercing rounds for several guns, try to load your weapon with those.

So I just got the (unmarked) quest to find a missing laser pistol in scorpion gulch.
Since I apparently suck at fighting giant radscorpions I bombed the living shit out of that place.
And now I read the laser pistol is supposed to lie somewhere in the gulch.
Of course it's not there. My best guess is my grenade/dynamite barrage made it fly across the map.
Now I suppose that thing wouldn't respawn at it's original location when I enter another cell and come back, right? :/
Somebody got the base id for that thing so I can just spawn it via console? ^^

Not trying to piss you off but I had a laugh just picturing that pistol flying across the wasteland. Like Indy in the refrigerator Very Happy (yes I found him outside Goodsprings).

I'm at the beginning of the game and using the skidrow release. Every time I go to change something this message appears:

What does it mean?

Fuck it! Got over it.

You can rent a motel room at Novac. 100 caps or so. I think it's pretty much a purchase, though.

If you complete the quest chain for the daytime sniper and remove the nightkin and 'launch' the ghouls you become Admired and the room is free.

I honestly think Caravan should be a game in it's own right. I could spend hours playing against the npcs. Wish they were smarter though. I can throw Jacks at them all day long and they never once use them against me. Great when two of our caravans are tied at 26, and I toss a jack on their high card knocking it below 26 and I win the match Very Happy In my 360 play-through I had over 15000 caps before I even made it to NV. Shit was so cash Wink

Patch is out as probably covered, can't do anything though as I still only have the encrypted NCF's so I got the encrypted game exe and FalloutNV.esm, will wait until tomorrow and continue playing then once it's unlocked.
(Unless someone uploads the 1.0.1 or what to call it "US" NCF's to allow grabbing the updated files as they should be, though I guess Skidrow or similar will release a update as they've been pretty active so it's not really a problem.)

Seems the NCR faction has disappeared from my list all together now, after 20 some odd hours of play time. Magical!
