I've got 1 minor issue and 1 big issue, dunno if others are experiencing the same.
1 minor :
Music is skipping before the end of the song (on the radio), now I'm pretty sure the xbox doesn't do this because I didn't notice it.
But I haven't put them side by side yet.
1 big issue :
People aren't betting in caravan !
In the xbox version, people bet their money and I can match/raise.
Nobody is putting down money on the pc version lol.

There is definitely nothing wrong with that .dll loader/relinker. Works flawlessly here! Before I used this I was running 1680x1050 with High settings (Low for water reflections since that seemed to cause issues for some people) and getting 34-45fps, 90 with wall crawling. Now? 1680x1050, Ultra quality with every option on maximum, and it's a constant 65fps++ Absolutely AMAZING performance increase while at the same time giving me a visual quality increase too.

That .dll loader or whatever is working like a charm for me, same effect as with Sabin here. I was playing on high and the framerate was very inconsitant, it jumped from 15 up to 90. With this loader I get a steady 70 frames per second on everything on ultra (except water which is low).

Also it doesn't seem like the ifpsclamp=60 fix takes effect because it will not stay in the falloutprefs.ini and that change does help remove the skipping in Fallout 3. Hopefully a modder will figure out how to disable the game ignoring and overwriting ini changes and make it behave like Fallout3 or Oblivion.

Check the .ini files as read-only =)

Enabled vsync with the d3d9.dll fix and while it's MUCH smoother, there is definitely frame skipping. As I said before, strafe sideways and you'll see it skip ahead about two or three times a second. There's a very effective framerate smoothing mod for Fallout 3 and maybe that's what we'll end up having to use to fix this.

Awesome. Dropped it down a few notches and now it's just about right <3

I don't have vsync enabled and maybe it's just my eyes, but I really don't notice any frame-skipping when sidestepping in 3rd-person view mode :\

Apparently it was an idea FROM the original FO3, so yeah - should be applicable there too.

Don't you get speed problems inside buildings when having v-sync off? You know like an old game running too fast...

Try the setting the "Number of frames to render ahead"/"Flip queue size" to 0 or 1 to see if it helps.
It's an old trick that worked way back with Oblivion.

Just enabled vsync and most of the time it's a full lock at 60fps, got in a huge fight a few moments ago with eight people all kicking off... dropped to mid 40s there. Perfectly acceptable =) Amazing how a little .dll can change something so drastically.

Surprising to me, this game runs perfectly. Unlike F3 in 08 which needed a patch cuz things fucked up.
NV runs so smooth and actually looks a little better than F3
My girl called me a geek cuz I told her i'm gunna be playing this game for a while lol She didn't mind as long as she can sit beside me and I go to bed with her.
She's the most understanding woman I've been with. And I don't feel like bitch when I compromise. Cause she does all the time and puts up with my 'geekness' lol
Calling a tattooed martial artist a geek, makes me laugh everytime
