Glad I wasn't planning to buy it because I wouldn't when they delay it 6 days before the release..

There are basically two different releases of the game:
Quote: | A representative for the company told Gamespot that the game has been finished since mid-September and, in fact, will be released in some European territories (via publisher Zuxxez) on October 21. ---> corrected to November the 9th 2010.
..
The version of the game that releases in 2011 will be identical to the European release, with the possible exception of some post-release patches and bug fixes that might be added to the retail disc in the U.S. |

Yeah, I usually prefer to concentrate on just one game rather than split my time between several.

In an interview with Mariusz Szaflik, the Lead Engine Programmer by Reality Pump, we learned various details: Admittedly, Two Worlds 2 as a cross-platform titles, the PC version may, however, with higher-resolution textures, detailed shadows, and improved SSAO (ambient occlusion ) decorate - and it shows. On a purely technical level drives the GRACE to the nowadays usual full program: An FP16 pipeline, including tone-mapping and deferred rendering, scattering effects, ambient occlusion, depth of field, blur, and Bloom, very chic (real time) reflections, soft shadows and a generally successful lighting with multiple light sources (such as skeletons with glowing innards, stagger through the dark passages). A special treat is the so-called quadtree displacement mapping , including self-shadowing, which was explained in the GDC 2009, and textures with realistic depth gives.

i like the multicore part.
Quote: | Two cores are necessary for maximum detail to run the rendering and gameplay. Towards the top, the GRACE scaled with many cores (supports up to 36, 24 Reality Pump has been tested successfully at least), are created in the corresponding number of threads. Thus, the streaming or the sound will be distributed to other cores, the same is true for physics |

Really? I had a feeling that renderer info had been posted before (Along with other technical data as development continued and more became known about the game.) but I didn't know it was that recent, this was mostly just a general regard in how serious they seem to be about the game though.
(And from what they've learned with their earlier titles from Earth 21xx to Knightshift and such.)
It'll be interesting to see how the game is once it's released in (Hopefully.) early November then.
(For some EU regions and the like, must have high expectations since so many have pre-ordered they had to do a second delay though a rather short one.)

I really can't wait to play it, the more info comes out, the more I like the game.
