So my buddy plugged his 32gb ipod touch into his car charger and apparely shorted out his sound, it plays fine up till it starts the vocals.
So long story short he says fuck it he's just gunna go buy another one and toss this one so I say shit man give it to me ill get the fucker fixed one way or another. So..I have a free 32gb ipod touch sitting here.
The sound is borked on it once too much is coming out at once if that makes any sense. The music is good but once the vocals start playing it gets really raspy, so I dunno if it fucked up the port or something on the sound chip?

ya we did headphones as well as different cords and stuff for the auxillery jack for the car stereo, it all gets borked once the vocals start up.

Google "ipod vocals messed up" and lots of results appear.
Basically, if headphones did not fix it, your only other option is to "Try restoring first, and if it doesn't work then send it in to apple".
I dont or nor will ever own an Apple item, so this is as far as I can go.

apple will fix it if its under warranty. should be. a lot of stores take in broken ipods and give you a new one. also yeah try restoring. most of the fuck ups can be fixed by restoring.

well I just got back from wal*mart, talked to customer service for like half an hour, was nice to them and return the replaced the itouch with a new model but had to do a lower space model cause it was a newer generation itouch, got a 30 dollar gift card to make up for the price difference.
All worked out. lol

ya I've noticed it's got some bad ass games. A lot are getting ported to android so I never really cared but hey, free gadgets, got something else to fool with now lol.
Is there an itune variable program that doesn't suck horrible or am I stuck with this bloated junk?
