How well does the viper chip works. It seems to me like the viper chip works for all the games of my interest like:
Mario sunshine
Starfox adventures
Metroid prime 1, 2
Resident evil 4
Final fantasy crystal chronicles
and so on.
But does the viper really play all games perfectly like the ps2 chips or do somebody know some games which isn't fully playable.
Maybe I would buy a cube next week, thats why I'm interested.
it requires a repositioning of a wire and a bit of cutting of plastic (i think). if you wanna keep the LED then its an even harder task but not impossible now.

The only problem with the GC is most of the old releases have been garbage wiped and not all nfo's state if it has or not. Wiped stuff won't play with the Viper chip and although there are programs to rebuild iso's it's kind of a pain compared to xbox and Ps2 stuff. Overall I'm happy with the Viper mod but it's not as hassle free as xbox stuff.
