Some people go on these things called trips often for their work. It requires them to leave their home, and go abroad and go on things called an airplane.

Yes, it is nice having a device so small that does everything decently well.

Just because you can't comprehend the desire, doesn't mean other people don't have the desire and use for such things.

Well, if you got a phone without a glass screen (like I do) they can take fall damage quite well.

But, when they DO have glass screens (like that ultimate phone of all phones to end all phones, the AYE-PHOEN), they can't even survive a drop from your pocket..

LOL. My CULV laptop was not cheaper. Either way, i'm going to get a 2 year contract with a wireless carrier. The iPhone 4 was $200.

You still miss the fact that a smartphone can be used during times with a netbook or CULV laptop can't.

I'm not going to bother with you anymore. It's entirely obvious you don't get out much, and don't understand why people need certain mobile devices.

how much are you paying per month on that contract ? better be fucking cheap , something like 20 bucks , tops , or else you're and idiot , no offence (but if you do the math , it's a fucking rip-off)

of course i understand , most people i know have them , but they do admit that it's not something really worth investing in since using it to browse random shit cause you're bored or play games is just a gimmick
and i guess you use your phone while taking a dump or something similar and that must be one of the 'times' you can't use a laptop

You miss the fact that what i'm paying right now wouldn't change. Regardless of what type of phone I had.

Either way I need the unlimited data plan.(I tether my CULV laptop to it, I stream internet radio and then pipe it into my car with it, I browse the web when i'm out and about, I check my emails, etc..) Thats $30 a month. It's $40 a month for the voice plan. So regardless if I got an iPhone or not - Those costs would be the same *on any phone*.

Yes, you are an idiot if you can't see the need of why someone would want a smartphone. Could I live without a smart phone? Of course. However, i'm not fucking poor and I have $200 dollars to spend on a phone. So i'll get my iPhone 4 which then I carry around to use as my normal cell phone anyways, use it to get emails pushed to me, use it as a normal iPod, browse the web, and play games on it.

If you think games are a gimmick on the iPhone 4 - Once again, you are a fucking idiot. CiV revolution, Chinatown Wars, SF4, and any number of other great titles are on the iOS platform. They look, and play just as good as they do on the DS. Chinatown wars is hardly a 'gimmick' game. If you claim otherwise, you are what I called you earlier in this paragraph.

There are NUMEROUS times where I can't haul around my fucking laptop. Yes, it's a CULV and lightweight as shit. That doesn't mean I can still fit it in my fucking pocket you tard. I do far more in my life then sit around at home all day responding to ra-tards. I bring my CULV on longer trips, so I still have a normal computer, per say. However, when i'm out for a couple of days, or gone for the day at work, or out hiking i'm not going to haul around a fucking laptop. Even if it is a CULV.

So please, fuck off. Go get on the short bus with stupid PSP black kid.

Then I may as well question why you pay for internet access. You don't need that.

Nor do you need a computer.

Your agrument is completely flawed.

I'd still rather have the glass screen. Just feels better, and it won't scratch.

Yeah, a drop on concrete might break it - But i've owned multiple iPhones for a while now and have yet to drop them.

Of course, I also have $500 Oakley's that i've owned for over 7 years now, and i've yet to loose them, drop them, or scratch them. (And I wear them whenever I go outside) So i'm pretty careful with my stuff.

Um what. Iphones are cheap as shit, as well as other smart phones. Sure we dont need them. All we really need is food and water, and a tree to sleep under... But why limit yourself when you don't have to?? Sure, if your a broke loser, don't buy a fucking iphone...duhhh. But if you make good money, pay your bills; why the fuck not?

Im seriously trying to understand the mentality of people who criticize others for buying things they don't find appealing, or useful.

Honestly you just sound like a hater.

Two of my iPhone-owning friends have dropped theirs from waist level, both broken screen.

I've dropped my Omnia a number of times, nothing broken though.

Oh, and I know even more iPhone users that has spent money on screen protectors - one even spent $29 on one of those helicopter-blade laminate-whatever ones. It still got scratched within a month Laughing

My phone is two years old in December, and I still don't have single scratch on my display.
Then again, I remember when I read the reviews for the phone before I bought it, that one reviewer kept the phone in his pocket with his keys, for a full week. And no scratches.

I had my 3G for 2 and a half years. Never had a screen protector or anything. Kept it in my pocket with my keys, and loose change. The plastic backing got scratched, but not the glass screen.

The glass ain't going to scratch unless you have like quartz or some random diamonds rolling around in your pockets.

And once again, i'd much rather have the glass simply because it feels better. Those plastic screens are complete shit.

They're not. Razz
Honestly, if you fancy playing that on an iPhone or whatever handheld device then super duper to you. I never much liked these handheld one's even since back when gameboy was around so I'm just biased against the whole concept. I can barely even force myself to play games on a laptop just because I feel all icky afterward. Crying or Very sad
