Is this a bug? Right at the beginning of the DLC Liara tells the Commander to take a look at her terminal, then she goes to her apartment and the camera focuses on the terminal.
But when I open the terminal, all it says is: "There is no further Intel available"
edit: nevermind its not a bug

Is the Shadow Broker dlc the final ME2 dlc? I remember Bioware saying that they would release dlc from the time of ME2 release and 2 years into the future.

new weapons no doubt
nah i doubt this is the last dlc, or even the last 'major' dlc... dlc is a great cash cow.. expect to see more right up till me3 release...
fuck... i bet they even work the first part of me3.. a demo mission basically... into some paid dlc for me2.. just watch, it wouldnt surprise me if that happened... an me3 demo masquerading as paid me2 dlc!
ea should hire me, i have epic ideas

I think BioWare said before that this is the first of the series of DLC packs that are supposed to have a story arc bridging the gap between ME2 and ME3, so major DLCs are planned. Of course it was also said that it will depend on how well they will sell - if people are interested in this, they will keep making them. If not, there won't be many major DLCs, so it depends on how well this one went, I guess.
Also, I just installed it, and the DVD check fails on launch. So I am using the mini image right now, but does anyone know if it is safe to reapply the 1.02 cracked exe, or was it updated, so a new crack is needed?

this DLC is installing patch 1.02 --> so just grab the crack on GCW and apply it in the game folder. It is what I have done and now no problem to run ME2 version 1.02 directly from HDD.

well so far im enjoying it... it definately feels bigger and a bit more ambitious... nice to see a new gameplay mechanic, too... and the animation from the cutscenes is good so far as well, not to mention the cutscenes themselves are well done, engaging and visually quite striking.
does feel a tad unpolished though... sometimes dialog scenes dont blend together as nicely as they have in the past - really noticed it when talking to liara in her office at the start...
but so far, i like it... im starting to have hopes... not high ones or anything... but 'hopes'.. for future dlcs...
well i guess ill keep playin.
also good opportunity to try out ze new guns from the last dlc release... im liking the rifle.

Oh great new dlc. Let's try that out!
Wait, what? My ME2 save is gone? FUUUUUUUU! *rage quit*
Freaking hell how did that happen?
edit:
to clear that up. Has nothing to do with the DLC. My saves are just... gone :/

nah but seriously, i enjoyed it, i really did. best dlc so far, even though it definately lacked a bit of polish.
also.. nice of jack to sleep through the entire boss fight... like wtf bitch.

All weapon, armor, etc upgrade sets are complete with this DLC. It looks like this is the last chunk that was cut from the complete game. I have to say if all this stayed in the retail, ME2 would be a truly amazing piece of software.

just going through the character profiles... hehe legions a gamer
better be pc not console though ffs.
also i dont believe this was part of the original me2. it would have been more polished if it were... and i dont get what you mean about upgrades.. i thought all upgrades were complete in the original game...

Found 6th (out of 6) heavy weapon damage in the trade building and I think an armor upgrade further in.
As for polishing..It could be that they still haven't finished these parts (Overlord, Shadow Broker, etc) before the game release so they decided to release them as DLC. It all strongly feels like it should have been in the game in the first place. It could be careful design planning..but it could also be greed.

yeah but the other stuff is all 5/5
thats just how the game was made... as new stuff is added, the max level gets increased...
i think its easy to say all this stuff, as well as the next 5... 10...50 dlcs 'should' have been included in the game, because we all selfishly want 'more'... but it all would have meant extended development time (well maybe not for overlord...)
but anyway.. far as im concerned, this is the first dlc i felt was actually a real addition... overlord 'should' have been in the original, but i didnt get that feeling from this dlc personally.
also... no tits! not even one! ffs im in sex scene denial... wtf man

Isn't a DLC supposed to be seamless? Of course all DLC's sould be in the original game, but a developer must stop adding shit someplace. I never had the feeling that Mass Effect 2 was butchered like say Mafia 2.

No, to me, I think Mafia 2, purposly cut things out.
In ME2, it seems like nothing was "cut out" but, it just feels these DLCs were suppose to make it into the original game, maybe they ran out of time to finish a lot of this side story arc quest.
EA was probably shoving a pole up their ass to finish it sooner, but, bioware has always had better direction than 2k czech and 2k..
What I am most curious about is how do they get the voice actors back again to record some more dialogue? That can't be cheap, no matter how much dialogue it actually is.

Considering the "stock" Liara stuff in ME2 was eventually expanded into a DLC, who's betting that the next "major" DLC we see is the one involving the Rachnii Queen?

i wouldnt mind seeing rachni shit, but then again i dont feel the need to really go there to be honest, because me1 pretty effectively told a large bulk of the story, so it doesnt really need fleshing out beyond the me2 reference... id love to see a return in me3 though, because i think theyve got to be important for the final reaper confrontation... but i dont really want to see them in dlc.
personally id love to see something based around anderson (the black dude who helped u out in the first game) - dude barely registers in the second game, so hes crying out for some dlc story... him and the council..... mainly anderson though, because he was cool.
