=Secret of Mana=



One of the Square Enix's most beloved SNES franchises has found a new home: the iPhone. No other details were offered for Secret of Mana other than a very vague release: 2010. Hopefully, this mobile port will feature the some of the enhancements that made Final Fantasy on Apple's handheld so worthwhile.

Uh oh... In that blurb they left out the greatest enhancement of all... The mp they added. Had so much with the coop and pvp on pep release, them leaving it out of the description is pretty much the nail in the coffin that they are dropping mp from tactics for iPhone...

And seriously for secret of mana too, it was insanely groundbreaking at the time for it's multiplayer feature... They will probably drop that too.

Just like rockstar dropped mp from the new old school gta, so lame.

Well they did say the iPhone version is based on the PSP one, so let's hope they don't drop any features. Personally, not being an enormous fan of FFT, I'm more interested in what Secret of Mana is going to be like!! Perhaps now, if SoM-iPhone sells well enough, we'll FINALLY see an official localisation of Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3)?? Very Happy

Well, like i said, even rockstar had all the work done for their mp, and they went out of their way to strip it out for iphone release... :/
