I had an hdd and that PC had that diskette handle, too I remember I was playing go-moku and a Chessmaster game ! And yes, the handle/lock was "active", it had to be engaged for the drive to work.

Yes, that is what I mean Laughing

But the drive wasn't embedded in the case, like in the picture, it was like a CS/DVD drive basically, you could remove it. There was even space for one more, but it was empty.
So I had to use a boot DOS diskette, once it boots, remove it, insert the game, run it, and once I exit the game, I had to put the DOS one again because otherwise it wouldn't find COMMAND.COM... Laughing
