That may be, he was still annoying as fuck, don't think his performance was anything special imo and this is probably the only Brad Pitt movie where you barely notice him.

Inglourious Basterds 6/10

I don't know, strange movie by Tarantino, couldn't stand the SS guy character why is he always so polite, stupid annoying prick wanted to punch him in the face from the first scene. Surprisingly a lot of calm and boring scenes, and when there was violence it wasn't really fun but more uncomfortable to look at, 6/10 is generous imo

Amen to that!

I had forgotten about that movie, thanks for reminding me, i just watched it. I really liked it too. 4/5.

About Inglourious Basterds.. i think it's a very, very overrated movie. It's not even all that much about the Inglourious Basterds, it's mainly about a woman and her boyfriend and their theatre, i didn't find them very interesting.

I also didn't like the really slow scenes with much dialogue, i didnt think he pulled it off there at all, wasnt smart, funny or even interesting enough.

Prince Of Persia (aka. Clichés: The Movie)

I could feel my IQ dropping with every frame... just the dumbest fucking film I've seen in a long time.

 Spoiler:

Shoddy CGI (it was painfully obvious which scenes were filmed on a sound stage in front of a green screen).

Jake Gyllenhaal's English accent was better than expected though, and Gemma Arterton is always fappable so it gets...

3/10

Gladiator - Crying or Very sad / 10 - Such a good film. I like Kingdom of Heaven DC a little better, but this is still a masterpiece.

Con-Air - 7 / 10 - One of Cage's best? Certainly one of his few good ones. Laughing

The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons - Hmm / 10 - I don't know what to rate these lol. They are certainly on the silly side story-wise, yet as adventure films go, these are quite good; well made, good acting, good music, somewhat sustainable plot, hate on fundamental religion, conspiracies. I've only read Code, so not sure how Angles fares compared to the book, but as films they are quite fine, especially when you consider the alternative, like National Treasure Derp. Laughing

I'll do it tomorrow evening, I promise. Wink

I could watch it now, but I'm definitely too tired and clouded to catch every single detail of such a mentally demanding (I guess) movie Smile

On the contrary, the movie isn't exactly an intellectual type movie, (it does have some stuff that only some people will notice and understand, but it's mostly shown in a humorous perspective), it is very accessible and easy to watch, really!

It's a comedy melodrama with some unique visual style Wink

As I said before, this is nothing like the movies I usually watch and recommend, but trust me, if you watch it fully, you will see how a great masterpiece it is.

Yes, don't underestimate me Wink

The only thing is that the release you told me about was recorded from a TV stream, it's still great quality though, the only problem is the station's logo on the top right, I'm very picky Wink

No, it's not underestimating. HDB releases are uploaded to a lot of places because of their quality. I download most of the HDB releases from usenet to not bother with ratio. Wink

I never worry with ratio when it comes to trackers, I'm a great fan of multiple accounts Laughing

Anyway, weren't you going to watch it also? Laughing

Lol, started watching this half an hour before your post. I finished it now and I can't remember any other movie to compare it to. A unique pile of beautiful bullshit.
No real story, just a study of an impossible character and her life, no real point or message but beautiful cinematography and an unique atmosphere.
8/10 for me though you'll probably hate it if you look for a story or adore it if you're into arthouse.

No point or message, you definitely haven't understood the film Laughing

Anyway, you rate a movie that you don't like as an 8/10 !?!

And yes, "I'm into arthouse", but to deny that the movie has a story is just ridiculous, your attention was probably focused on secondary details such as cinematography or humor, but this movie has a very elaborate story!

It's based on a very reputed Japanese novel by Muneki Yamada.

Gory, blood feast but a yawner. Michael Fassbinder is always interesting and I liked the beginning but the last 30 minutes were excrutiating.

The Killer Inside Me 8.5/10

what a fucked up movie , god damn , pretty brutal stuff and i wouldnt recommend it to the faint of heart
performances are great , Casey Affleck plays a guilt ridden nutcase very well
story is really well ritten imo and direction was great

but still , this isnt your typical Hollywood movie , i can understand why it had the widest release of 17 theaters , it's just too fucked up for most people to watch but I DO RECOMMEND SEEING IT

Carlito's Way 8/10

A decent flick, Pacino is excellent as always and I finally saw the "real" Ken Rosenberg from GTA: Vice City. Laughing I thought it could have been longer though, the ending felt rushed.
