Nope, for a year.
I even made a baby in that time.
Well I say I made it, I helped :Y
I went out a lot more, I caught up with old friends etc....
I did a lot of shit that both my wife and I used to put off because we were online playing some crap game or something similar, just pulling the plug for a year really made a difference to our lives.

Nope, didnt see the point, if anyone wanted to contact me (who knew me) had my mobile / cell number.
Its actually quite funny / annoying, the number of companys who try and insist on using email / online facilities for billing (eg. gas / electric) and charge you extra to send out a paper bill.

Oh jeez, sometimes there is internet outage here, and my mind just can't fathom the idea... I start Firefox, it tells me there is network error, I close it ... stare blank at the desktop, and of course, what else is there to do, let's browse the net, so I start Firefox. This can go on for several cycles at a time. Then I start some movie or TV episode, but then think of something and start Firefox... And again cycle repeats.

Yeah a schedule with 1/2 days a week without the internet is a very good idea indeed. It's a light but effective countermeasure, too bad that is totally inapplicabile in my desperate case of internet addict! I'd need the brute force and a resistant strait-jacket.

Nah... just select a nature slideshow on my second monitor and put on the ventilation for an extra breeze
I also save loads of things in case of no internet... but then again... when i browse the whole list i don't really know whats what so i end up opening firefox again to look for a trailer. And guess what.... NO FUCKING INTERNET

Been there
Back in 08' there was a hurricane here, was without power (and consequently internet) for two full weeks. We'd run the generator for a few hours a day, but the comp. might as well have been a fucking rock without net access. Lost count of the amount of times I opened my browser only to be jarringly disappointed.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Well I have been a few days off the net. Mostly because I was too stupid to figure out how to connect to the wireless network on my vacation spot
