I got the enUS installer, installed the game - then i let the patcher update the game to 15405.
Afterwards i copied the mpq and the sc2.exe to their folders. Started the game with the launcher.
Got the screen with "start campaign", clicked, then it shows the loading screen with a brief warning that i cant play the campaign without a key, which disappears. Then the green loading bar goes to 90%, hangs and throws me to the desktop, saying my starcraft 2 installation is corrupt with the source "sc2.exe".
Where is the problem? Maybe because i have the enUS client?

Agreed, the game kind of reminds about Firely, definitely some similarities here and there, and it seems to be a pretty deep story, but at the same time with some appropiate and funny humor.

Well, the tutorial works, after quiting the tutorial it complains about the language region. Main campaign throws me out at the loading bar.

man.. what crack, those are guest client files and they work for any region, the only problem here is you need to update the game first and then copy the guest files after that just spoof the Host file with ip home address for Battle.net |

K. Installed the game. I let it update till it says "PLAY" in the launcher. Copied the "guest files" to the folders in the nfo.
Nowhere is written to also change your hostfile, can you explain? My prob is that the game crashes whenever i start the campaign, saying my starcraft is corrupt.

Hmm...
Can you legally play in guest mode by just having a friend, who bought a game, log in with his account on your machine once?
Wouldn't that unlock guest mode properly (and permanently for that particular installation)?

I wouldn't say they're exactly the same as the guest files ... otherwise those on "cracked" copies would only have 7hrs of play. I believe pirates have been playing for longer than 7hrs :\

works for me but no sound using the liberty release and crack
mount iso, copy entire contents of cd to a folder run install form there let it patch
close everything
copy sc2.exe to versions overwriting
copy the patch file and overwrite
run from starcraftII.exe in main folder
I didn't use guest files but not playing without sound obviously

Thats how i did it.
Still, loading the campaign hangs at 90% at the loading screen ("Mara" something...), then goes to desktop saying my starcraft installation is corrupt, i should launch the repair tool.
Reinstalling doesnt help.

Wow... i really love this game. It has been ages since some good base build strategy game got released.
I only stumble across one problem... how to exit the game without alt f4 ? When i choose to quit i come to the main screen but i dont see any exit button or whatsoever... maybe i completely overlooked ?
