Absolute epic masterpiece, masterful film making. It just left me breathless the first time I saw it.

It's funny, No Country for Old Men got all the attention in 2007, but I honestly think There Will Be Blood is leaps and bounds above it, while NCOM is a pretentious snore (typical Cohen brothers affair), whose only redeeming quality is the main trio's performance. But I can see why TWBB is not for everyone. Wink

You summed up pretty well what I feel about this movie!

No Country for Old Man has nothing to do with There Will be Blood, it's not that it's a bad movie, it's not, it was a great one, but There Will Be Blood was something else, it was one of those movies they just don't make on the present day, it was superb on every level.

And the perfomances of Daniel Day Lewis and Paul Dano are just indescribable epic!

I think Timecrimes is even more innovative, but Twelve Monkeys is still a solid 9/10. The Gilliam look adds a lot to it.

+1, this is an excellent movie. Haven't seen it in years and kinda forgot about it, I'm going to have to watch it again. It was one of my favorite movies when it came out back in the 90's.

Clash of the Titans 4/10

Lacked any depth, felt rushed, like they cut a 2-hour version of the entire LotR-trilogy, left out any narrative and just compiled the major scenes. No character development, no feeling, no nothing, just some pretty fx. Sad

I'll agree for a low budget film it was, primer was one of the best movies I have ever seen.

The A-Team. 9/10.

Just finished watching the "remake" and I gotta say, it was absolutely the BEST remake in the history of remakes. Faithful enough to the original series, but with enough action and plot to appeal to those that weren't into the original. Well above-average story, for a supposedly mindless action flick, and - as expect - TONS of awesome action. Thoroughly enjoyable film from start to finish .. and also damned funny too! Being an avid gamer, I was almost in hysterics at a certain scene later in the film ^_^

Definitely recommended to everyone; old fans and newcomers alike!

--- oh and bonus points to Fox for bringing in Dwight Schultz (Murdoch) and Dirk Benedict (Face) after the credits Very Happy

Shame the end-credits scenes were dubbed in fucking German or Russian or something... grrr. The downsides of piracy, eh? ---

Murdoch was definitely my favourite character; a nutjob in the original series, but completely fucking batshit insane in the movie! Great stuff!
