It's not bad. I'm having quite a lot of fun. Although i have to say that Lego Harry Potter coop is much more entertaining. >_>

I found this game boring. Singularity was much better - and I think Singularity is mediocre at best...

It's a very simple TPS action with ok graphics and average gameplay. Co-op could be somewhat fun, but single player gets boring fast. IMO it's a 6/10. You can kill some time with it and if you have friends to play with you'll enjoy it even more, but that's it. Transformers fans will probably get a lot more fun out of this too.

Also about the graphics - brown. A lot of brown.

dammit, everytime i start the game, it just shows the splash screen and then apparently the TWFC.exe terminates itself. anybody else experienced that?

i read somewhere that you have to install and execute it as administrator to work, i'm on my admin account anyway. also reinstalled the newest versions of directx, physx, vcredist, ati drivers - stioll no luck Sad

Bah, sorry about that! Your second line of post escaped my old tired eyes. Smile

And speaking of graphics, even the environments look bland when looking up close. One should take a look at UE3 in other games and understand what I mean.

Yeah how IGN gave this game a 9 in graphics and overall is beyond me.

It's your standard TPS with nothing new whatsoever. Then again I don't expect more from most reviewers. "standard shooting we've sen 534839 times?! 9/10 gameplay, brown or grey or a mix?! 9/10 graphixz!!, cursing and a soundtrack?! 9/10 for sure!"

And I couldn't stop thinking about Cyrus every time that small one talked. He even said commander for fuck sake! Laughing

Played this for a bit, enjoyed it tons more than Singularity.

Graphically it's not particularly impressive, but what I like is how the game doesn't pretend to be more than it really is: a simple, straight up, point to point shooter. Nice and fast gameplay, I love using the scouts to drive up close to the enemy, coming out of vehicle mode and smacking them in the face with my melee attack Very Happy

yeah, played sp a little bit but, while being fun at first, it still gets boring after a while. I suppose it really shines in coop mode. Seems to be setup that way with the multiple chars and whatnot.

This. Game. Rocks.

Very Happy

I like the gfx, too.

Sure, the constant shooting actiony gameplay gets repetitive, but it's a SP campaign and I wanna fiinish it. Story and dialogues are nice, too !

Seriously? No bullshit? Alright then thanks, I'll DL it. I was going to give it a miss (last TF game was less-than-stellar) as it's 8GB.

It's awesome, man, great action, story and cutscenes !

The only thing it's missing is some light RPG system, with upgrades etc. Sad

(Of course it's still a consolsh game, no replay value for SP, but it has coop+MP is seems ! )

I don't understand why most people here say it's a crappy normal shooter game. It really isn't!! This game is great!
It don't compare to the first Transformers game, and not even to a lot of shooter at all. The game in which the gameplay is the more similar would be Lost Planet. It's ultra fast action with an awesome dynamic environment. There's tons of events/lasers/explosions everywhere are you move, it never get repetitive.
blackeyedboy's screenshot is a bit over the edge, you don't see anything of the game except the face of a guy with high texture lod not loaded.

The autobot campaign where you can play either as Jetfire, Air Raid or Silverbolt is just awesome, playing through it now and loving it, havent played the decepticon campaign yet, but this game is just great fun and really well done, i keep my 9/10 initial score.

Even in the two levels I've played of War On Cybertron I can tell it's better than the Lost Planet games.
