I sure want to believe in that yes, but still there are the questions I wrote still hanging, and the sig thingy that in a proper forum a mod would've been strapped from his rights just for that. |
i have yet so see a good argument FOR removing the sig-chat. Nobody has the right not to be offended. Surely, everybody has the right to voice his opinion about it, but the world does not always care or cater to the people who are offended the loudest. Which is a good thing imho. As i said before, the sig-chat is transient in nature and any stupidity there will be gone after 4 lines of chat. If anything else, the sig chat is a good lesson in humility.
And what is the difference to other people's sigs that contain quotes from users, that make em look bad? Where does the fun end and where should the prosecution begin? |

I believe a mod shouldn't also have a quote about someone, that's a part of the responsibility of being a mod, thus "neutral".
And that sig is different than some quote in the way that the sig is much more interactive by it's nature, and always contains offensive stuff that some users wrote.
The "I didn't write it, I don't control it" argument is maybe legit on the "official" level, but I don't buy it... The sig was a tool to flame twobells without getting horror's hands dirty.
Just as I would be banned for posting a sig which shows some random pedo pic from another site, the same goes with flaming. Just because it's on another address, doesn't make it OK.

I am amazed by the sheer childishness of the people involved. If TB asks to be left alone then let him be left alone. Are you too much of an ass to just let the guy be? Are you the same guy who just cant stop fucking with people? I am also dissapointed in the ability of Horrordee to distance himself from the issue and simply take a step back. You're a mod and expected to stay out of shit like this, if you cannot do this then dont be a mod so you can hop on the sidelines with iNatan. Aside the fact that TB might have been delusional, the responses are out of proportion and certainly unnescessary.

I was here at the time of the flaming in the Sig where all the fuss started about.... i even posted things in there regarding TB but it was his own fault. It was all a little play like you make fun of eachother on the forum only it was placed in the sig.
Thats why i hate it when mods remove all regarding posts... the evidence was out there, he did it to himself. Case closed
