I was going to write a mini review, but i'll simply say
(apart from it being on console)
this is the best game ive played in years.

am i missing something... how do you get the lasso? started to play last night, am in armadillo and accepting every bounty that shows itself, but havent seen a lasso

I assumed it's part of some story mission? I haven't had the time to really start playing - just messed around a bit when the game was released, hunting and such.
A question about poker and the elegant suit:
 Spoiler: | How is the cheating supposed to work? Are you supposed to press something after pressing Y to cheat when dealing, or do you have to just keep the arrow in the middle for a certain amount of time? Because I just can't keep it in the middle, I always end up getting caught, even with very minor nudges.
And if I kill the poker players in duels, do they eventually get replaced? |

Basically you're right about cheating. Sometimes it's really easy to keep it centered and sometimes I can't manage it all as well.
Seems to rely a bit on luck and how many / which players are on the table I think.
Something else:
Is there a list online on what the different outfits are? (not necessarily how to get them but what they are and what they do would be cool).

It has its own bar that fills up as you kill and drains with the dead eye usage. But yeah, as long as you have energy and keep aiming (LT) you can use dead eye pretty much any time.

I've played multiplayer for a few hours and i'm dissapointed in how it turns out, its fun to play for a while but gets boring fast, why is the only thing you can do in freeroam taking gang hideouts with your posse or take out other posse's who keep respawning anyway so its kind of team deathmatch, i expected a whole coop experience but its nowhere to be found. The whole area/gameworld is HUGE and there is nothing to do except the 2 things mentioning about and the competetive gameplay modes which are ok but after playing them for a while it gets boring too.

how the hell do you heard the wild horses?, spent 15 mins doing this but them went asll over the place so i got pissed off and shot at them untill it said failed.

lol, its pretty easy. Just stay in the back, if one of them runs from the crowd go get him. They correct themselves pretty easy.

Yeah, also the UP arrow on dpad helps sending them back to the herd.

So im about 5 hours in, and ive barely touch the campaign missions, the side stuff is just awesome enough.
this ones gonna keep me busy for a while.
