what about pc sales? Although it doesn't matter, it takes them few days of work tops to port it over to PC version, so as long as few hundreds/thousand people buy it, they gonna make money from it...

OH MY TETRAGRAMMATON, 17 millions?! I'm speechless, humanity needs another great flood to erase from the earth all those brainless retards that are killing future of decent gaming industry. For me every dlc that is not free is a fucking cock slap in the face of legit buyers. Beacause of this money hungry politics I feel less and less bad for being a pirate. They made fuckin billions on the best selling game itself and it's still not enough for them to give those few maps for free... That was the last game I bought form them.

Nah, DLC like the GTA DLC is fine. They can call it whatever they want, "DLC", "Expansion" "paid-for content". Whatever. But it has to be of substantial value, ffs!

Some of you people still wonder, why PC gaming is, as you put it, dying. Or at least why there are no quality PC games left. Let me ask you something.
If you asked a PC shooter fan (not the hardcore ones, just average fans) ten to twelve years ago, would they buy a game, that forces a FOV of 75, has sloppy mouse control, costs tons of money, is short on content, THERE ARE NO DEDICATED SERVERS and offers no advantage over the game you are currently playing?
I think the answer would have been no.
But nowadays, gamers are trained consumers (substitute with idiots, imbeciles or console players at will) . I would rather have my left testicle rot, than pay activision 14 euros for 5 maps.
What makes me even more sad, is how people, who willingly pay money for nothing to the friggin DEVIL of game publishers, find this forum at all?!

I totally agree. You have to have principles and stand up to what is wrong. I'm not even asking for the dlcs to be free, but damn to have a company show you the splintered baseball bat they're going to fuck you with and still bend over...WTF. i want to own this game but not at the prices they're asking. I want to own it so bad i haven't even DL'ed the pirated version yet. I keep hoping against hope that they'll stop being greedy bitches. I'm guessing i'll be waiting a long time because as long as 17 million people took it up the butt willingly, they're going to keep on raping the public. Maybe one day i'll finally DL it but there is NO GAME that i have to play if it means compromising what i believe to be wrong. For those who bought the game and the dlcs, more power to you, but it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

Yeah, that was just a wtf moment when it was stated it's coming to the 360 and PS3 only. -.-
Both games are there to please the console tard, both games are both fun and FUBAR in thier own ways. So far BC2 does have the upper hand tho, barely. |

I just thought I'd add that people who bought the Stimulus Pack on the first day on the Xbox got a week extra of Gold membership. $2 bitch ass.
Also the reason that so many people go ahead and pay for this overpriced DLC is that if you DONT have it you're in for alot of crap. Since all gamemodes rotate maps and they ALL include the DLC-maps you will eventually be kicked from your lobby. And this will happen alot more than you think.
Truth be told I really liked the new maps, sure they were worth more like 400MS points but wtf can you do. Supply and demand and all that.

Depends on mood. If I'm jumping on with a mate BC2 every time (unless pissed).
If I'm jumping in solo for some quick action CoD every time.
BC2 is certainly deeper and more satisfying, but MW is more "fun". If that's console tardism so be it, but I play games for fun.

Honestly, I at this point prefer MW1 and WaW over MW2, I find both games more fun and play then more often than MW2.
I do get what you mean tho and I agree that MW is more "fun".

I find MW1 more enjoyable since I can play all game types in HC mode and some of the perks aren't as insane as in MW2. The maps are smaller which results in campers everywhere and due to latency issues there's always going to be the mysterious magic bullets issue.
Graphics wise MW2 is better, but not by much and that's about it.

Well at least there aren't as many compromises, as there were with MW2, like BC2 still have dedicated servers, live play(no shitty host-migration-shit), actually dev support which fix the complaints and at least 32 players, mapkit etc.
Onslaught was a disappointment yes, but seeing as they are still working on a solution for the PC it might be added later.

Just fired it up for curiosity and landed in Killing House in HC Sab with a chopper already up. Forgot how much slaughter that map was. And mostly the victim was me. Lol.
