tried the demo, and loved it!
but i can't get the game to install Sad setup.exe (autorun) gives me the message "c:\windows\system\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft windows applications"
anyone knows what this might be??

Running windows Xp i'm guessing?

Ok, well go to this site http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/ and download the XP Fix, run it and everything should work fine. Smile

I'm enjoying this game. It's good if you can distinguish gameplay and graphics.

Thats because your autoexec.nt file went into a repair folder..well you already find the fix..if it happens again just ask one of your friends to send you the file from his PC

Yeah this is a common error (dunno why people keep getting this file deleted)... but I've got another one, it say I don't have enough memory to execute this Win16 sub-system application even if I have lot of free ram Smile Why do they have to use an 16bit installation program anyway? Win3.1 is long gone...

So I tried to run the game directly on the CD (3 files, 30mb) and guess what, it worked! lol Only problem is that it didn't save, and when I pressed P to pause it tried to save a screen shot and said "Unable to write screenshot.jpg", *press Ok*, "Fatal Error, Application will now close".... yeahh good programmation lol

finished level 1, didn't try level 2 and wonder if it worth to play the first one again

Exactly.. Complaining about the graphics in this game is like saying "i dont like the graphics in FarCry because i dont like islands and lots of water!".. FarCry is supposed to be a game set on different islands, just like this game is supposed to be set inside an old(?) computer, so it has a bit of retro / Tron "universe" look to it, i'd give the graphics 9/10.

When i installed it, it first said that it couldn't create the uninstaller then it throwed me some tmp weird memory error in the end but I was able to run it fine. Weird. And hmm, the game is how do you say, different... but NOT bad!

i couldn't figure that out either. came up with a way, just kill em with your squad and pick up the souls with engineer and bring them to an inqubator on the other side :=) maybe not the best way but it'll do the trick..

You can transport them with the radar thing. Sometimes the officers gets stuck though so you might have to move them away and then try it again.

yeah i figured it out, you can transport with the radar, but it seems a bit buggy because it takes a few tries before it works..

works fine for me. they usually run into the radar 2 or 3 times if you send them in from the sides, or too many at a time, but they always make it in within a few seconds.

you dont have to send in the officer himself anyway, just set the target to the radar dish and let all the darwinians run over there, then on the other end of the radar stream have another officer waiting who sends em to another officer who then sends em to another officer who sends em to the tree. you can have really cool officer waypoint networks Smile

this game really rocks, it's more fun than half-life 2
