Really liked this one. Apparently there's only a french TS available now (that's what I watched), but and eng-subbed DVD will surely follow someday.

Word. Should watch more french movies really, the few I've seen all were worth the watch (even tho almost all of them have that annoying Vincent Cassel in them).

Yeah more jean reno and classic besson (besson from Nikita days) and less cassel.

Outside of British cinema my two favourites are Nikita and Leon without a doubt.

Can you recommend good French thrillers/ action movies generally?
Stuff like "Don't tell anybody", "banliue 16", "The prophet" etc.

Meh, i just checked some Jean Reno movies and looked through teh ratings and plotlines. While he is a great actor imo, his movies aren't that great. Too bad. Only Leon and Heat seem worthwhile.
