I was temp banned on Friday for posting about current affairs news on liberals and the way they think.
Why was I banned?
The posts originated from realizing that the forum was very biased in some ways, with little to no balance ideologically..
You know the sort of thing I am sure, savagely attacking NATO troops, Conservatives and anyone who doesn't follow a certain liberal mind-set, prime examples all of discrimination, intolerance and ignorance, the very same evil ideologies that they label on the above.
It is quite sad but I have seen images of hanged burning western security forces while the same subscribers posted jokes about it, yet when I tried to redress the situation I was pillaried as 'rascist' because I attempted to show people that they are attacking the 'reaction' to terrorism/insurgency and not the 'cause'.
This is typical of double-think that is prevalent in western countries amongst some people.
Do I have a point or am I just biased myself?
Before I created this post I wanted to answer that question myself so I created a study group of four news posts on recent terrorist attacks against muslims in their own countries laying out the innocent victims of terrorist attacks (muslim women and children) however, only one person responded after two days, for me that subscriber shines through the darkness and ignorance I see on this forum.
He didn't attack race, creed or ideology but tried to sympathize with all sides, something that seems to be very lacking here.
I did the same with four Liberal news topics.
So what was going on?
The fact that hating on certain people and organisations is deemed okay by certain moderators yet attempting to balance the forum by offering an alternate equally valid argument is not.
'Trolling'
There have been accusations of 'trolling', trolling is subjective in that it can be any subject or content that a subscriber or moderator when reading doesn't agree with, here are the three true definitions of 'trolling':

While I have been attacked for my posts all content drawn from daily news, on-topic for the forums concerned in an attempt to balance what I see as inflamatory comments in the 'World News' forum, no-one was censored for those comments but when I attempted to respond calmly and with forethought I was accused of 'trolling'. My aim wasn't to initiate an emotional response but to offer an alternative perspective.
Some may have been controversial but that is the reality of the world we live in, I stress again, they were never posted to produce an emotional reaction but to offer an alternative view.
It seems on NFOHUMP that 'trolling' means whatever certain people want it to mean, you know who I mean and that they use it as a way to attack anyone who thinks differently to them, similar in many ways to the behaviour of the Sturmabteilung (brown shirts) in '36.
How do we move forward?
I for one would like to see the hate posts stop and a unbiased moderation, so far the only mod I have direct experience of an unbiased attitude is Epsilon but what is completely unfair is advancing (through penalty of banning) one point of view over another.
Either we have a balanced forum or we don't, it is quite obvious to many people from the emails I have received that at the moment this is not the case, so I ask you before mods go painting red crosses on people's doors please consider what I have had to say with an open mind.
This post intends not to evoke an emotional response but to beg fair play across the forums.
In conclusion:
I felt very angry about seeing photo's of hanged western security forces on the forum but when I tried to offer an explanation that some people might consider looking at it differently (by setting up examples of their hypocrisy) I was temp banned.
It would be the easiest thing in the world for me to just accept that, keep my head down and not rock the boat but I have always tried to do the right thing by the people I have lived and worked with and the content in certain posts are a mockery of the reality.

I'll be honest. I stay out of that section, I do it because it is likely to cause issues like this for mods and has done in the past (for me actually! the one and only time I ever went in I perm banned about 5 people ). You have to understand that it isn't easy for mods, sometimes what we feel as right other people may see as an abuse of power to defend our own beliefs. Maybe that is the case, its not always easy to remain clear when you feel something massively stupid is going on.
Anyway. I just want to add that due to my position as someone who keeps well away from such things, should anything like this happen I'm always open to a PM. Feel free to come talk to me about the issue and I will try to resolve it.
I appreciate the effort you put into the post, I think its certainly better than the usual "OI CUNT FLAPS I GOT BANNED?! WHYY?!!! I'M FUCKING AWESOME!" threads.. but still, I don't want these kinds of things constantly happening. This one can stay so that the mod in question, should they want to, can respond. In future, please PM me or another mod with these concerns.
The "Western Security Forces" were Blackwater, many of which are scum who at the end of the day kill for money. Hard to feel sympathy for them.
But yes, this forum is heavily biased towards the left wing, anti-US bashing, etc etc... I have an issue with it as well, but hey, you can't go against the tide here Just learn to live with it. If you don't like it here, then leave.
And you went overboard posting shit in the World News section. At the end of your posting spree half the threads were about terrorist incidents all around the world. Yes, we know there are plenty of Muslim extremists and terrorists out there. Yes, we know terrorists are bad people. You've made your point. Now can you please stop spamming world news with the same shit over and over again?
You re misrepresenting the facts there twobells. And the reasons you bring up are mainly points I did discuss with you via pm and thought that i made my positions clear there.

By the way, why does everyone has to be so apologetic about mods having a liberal/sane point of view? This is a forum with the majority of users having liberal/sane point of view, and spamming shit is indeed considered spamming. Just like going to a Christian forum and spamming with anti-religious stuff. No matter how valid that stuff is, it goes against the point of view of the majority, thus has no real merit, thus trolling.

This forum is not intended as vehicle to promote anyone's political viewpoints.
You are of course welcome to post your opinion of news events in World News and bring certain topics up for debate in General Chatter, but there is no need to make lots of topics to discuss one issue. By doing that you look like you're doing it to get attention and not for any valid reason.
When you post a thread in General Chatter that claims liberals are claiming the moon landing as a hoax and doing that in an attempt to damage people you're not being intellectually honest, because you're basing your arguments upon lies and ignorance.
- You take something that is not a political issue and make it political.
- You claim liberals are proponents of the moon landing hoax theory, when for example the American conservative news channel Fox claims it's creating and broadcasting of documentaries claiming the moon landing didn't happen increased the believe in the hoax theory from 6% to 20% of the population.
If you want to debate something make sure beforehand you understand what you're debating, otherwise I'll just assume you lie and display ignorance because you're trolling (and that'll get you banned again).
And for iNatan, liberal pov is not the only sane point of view and just because a majority thinks something doesn't mean any opposing view point is spamming. Your post is probably even more stupid than the liberal moon landing hoax twobells wrote.

Any kind of intolerance towards a race of people, a colour of people or a religion shouldnt be tolerated anywhere (and whatever else), be it online or offline.
I was just pointing out (although not clearly enough) that as Muslims are not a race, anything you said against them would not be racist.
